Love how long of a hose you get and the ability to pump water into your tank! No more buckets! (Will be getting a sump pump soon)The reason for 3/5 stars is because the metal fittings used to attach to faucets completely suck! They are the cheapest I have seen!!! They spray water everywhere!! ( I will be keeping because my faucet is outside that I use for filling so it can spray all it wants!)The vacuum portion itself does not leak and the valve works great I had it full flow, stopped and set the vacuum, and hose on the floor with no leaks.

I should have bought one of these years ago. I didn't know it was a thing.Being able to clean my tank without electricity or hand pumping it and then fill it right back up from the sink is amazing. My tank has never looked so good. Well other than when it was new. This makes the whole process painless. I'll probably even do water changes like I'm supposed to.

This is an absolute must have for anyone with a large aquarium. It does a great job of cleaning the gravel, and then it's a breeze to fill the tank. Highly recommend.

Hello, I don’t usually do these, but I figured it would help out the next new aquatic turtle owner. Normally, I would clean the tank by syphoning the water into a bucket and dumping it outside like Im sure a lot of people do. However, I just moved to Seattle and now live on the sixth floor and can’t just dump it. I also hated the idea of dumping it in the tub because that’s where I clean my body. That’s when I discovered this awesome siphon. This siphon attaches to your water facet and uses the force of the water to pump tank water down the sink. It also can reverse the flow and pump water into the tank from the facet so you don’t really have to worry about water getting everywhere! It’s fast and clean.

This hose/vacuum is a must have for any fish tank owner. It allows me to easily fill my fish tank after a water change and you can switch the valve and use it as a gravel vacuum. It does work better if your sink is higher than your fish tank. My sink is about 20 feet away and the hose has to go down and back up to reach the sink. This makes the section not as strong but still works.

This has made cleaning the tank out so bloody easy it's unreal how quickly it did it. It normally takes me an hour to do it properly. This has saved me the hassle of hand pumping, moving buckets and time. I was able to leave this running and clean all the glass and push any big items of mess towards this to get rid. That and filling up was about 10 minutes. To say I was able to do this in 20 to half an hour is crazy.

Overall it works great! It came with multiple brass fittings to connect it to your sink, and as long as you give yourself enough length for your needs it should work fine. My only criticism is that I wish the connection point to the vacuum part had a screw hose clamp instead of just the plastic one as I did have it "blow off" the end once. I was able to get it stopped quick enough that the only damage was me being a little damp, and now I just leave the end open when I switch from vacuuming to filling the tank (which also minimizes any "jet spray" effect from the air in the hose, which seemed to happen no matter how little water pressure I used, probably due to the length of hose.)In short, this is a great water changer and has all but eliminated buckets from my aquarium changes (except sometimes for my little tank, which is too small for this vacuum for anything less than 50% water changes). Highly recommend it even as an off brand - just watch a few youtube videos first if you've never used a water changer before.

You sometime see viral social media campaigns which ask people something to the effect of 'what simple product can you buy which is life changing?'.This is that product.Water changes have always been a hassle. You have to get the suction going with significant movement of the funnel. You think you've done enough, but you haven't and it's stopped and you have to start the process again. Once you get the suction going, you're gambling when to stop the suction to move to a different bucket before it overflows. You're carrying buckets to/from the aquarium and the sink in the other room because the buckets not large enough to do the entire change, meaning you have to make multiple trips. You have taps open filling the buckets in other rooms whilst you're emptying others into the tank. You take too long, the buckets overflow. You try to do it too quickly and water splashes out of the tank whilst you're filling it.All up it takes time. A lot of time. Usually with some curse words thrown in because something has gone wrong and you've got water somewhere you shouldn't.It was getting to the point where the pain in doing regular water changes was starting to exceed the benefit I got from having the aquarium in the first place. I was probably changing the water less frequently than I should have been because it was all such a hassle.Enter this product. 60 minute painful job turns into a 10 minute simple job.It takes so little time. You're not carrying kilograms of water between rooms. The water doesn't get splashed everywhere. It took me maybe 3-4 attempts of using it (including one with my partner monitoring the sink in the other room) before I got into the groove of the process. Once you've got the knack for it, it's glorious.
