We did several tests to calibrate the salinity in our water....tap water, pond water, salted water, and finally bottled water straight from the grocery store. The results didn't change at all or vary. We were careful to place on a level surface and fill to correct fill line. Waste of money.

the meter wont even move as I add more aquarium salt it moves upto 20% and wont go any higher no matter how much i add. Chinese made.
