The airline was very flimsy and one of the check valves is stuck closed and not letting any air. Also the pump is getting hot compared to other air pumps I have used.

I had an air pump before, but this one is much more powerful pushes. A lot of bubbles works perfect.

used to empty psyanky (Ukrainian eggs). I didn't need anything powerful or with a lot of features and this works perfectly!

I’m really writing a review to answer a question that I had, but didn’t find the answer to (I needed one too soon to wait for a question response & likely wouldn’t have gotten one that was as helpful as what I’ve learned). I had a hard time finding a well-reviewed one that was strong enough that didn’t have 2 outputs, so I decided to try this one to see what happened, knowing that I could just add a bubble stone to the other output if it wouldn’t work with just one.Well, it will work just fine using only one side, but it is significantly quieter if you use both. I only needed one for my sponge filter and I also have a hang on back filter, so I don’t really *need* the extra flow, but I’ll see how it goes once the tank cycles and I start moving my fish into it. I also learned that the air stone doesn’t appear to be pushing out air at all unless it is underwater, so if it turns out that that is too much water stirring (one of my fish is a betta and they like their water on the still side), I will just take the stone out & put it out-of-sight to keep the pump quiet. And it is indeed pretty quiet when both sides are used. It makes a light humming sound, but I am pretty sensitive to noise & this meets my needs; the sound of the water bubbles bother me more!I can’t speak for its longevity as I just installed it, but it’s a pretty simple machine & seems well made enough. I will change my review if I learn otherwise.

This is definitely worth the money if you use this amazing air pump. However, it does come standard with dual outputs, which can be easily remedied, with a Y-connector for the pennies. And, very quite. My fish make more noise. This air pump will make your, Reef Glass Protein Skimmer look like it's on steroids. I originally bought another pump that was highly recommended, however within months it just lost power. With this pump not only does it come with everything needed to really be, 'Plug 'n' Play', for any function. This will be the best bet for your Skimmer. The pump is rated for 100 gallon systems but has a dial to adjust the air flow rate. Just by my rule, I always go over board when it comes to any measurement of flow rates due to the fact that eventually every mechanical device in the aquarium life slows down before it just goes, kaput. The only con is that the electrical cord is really short, about 12 inches. But, still worth every penny.

2 months of use:Pros:Very quiet. My air purifier on “silent” is louder.Very compact. Takes up very little space; easy to conceal.Very powerful. I’m able to run filters for 2 20 gal tank with this.Cons:Just barely enough airline tubing, and my tanks are right next to each other. You may need to purchase more. This isn’t a huge deal for me, but it’s still something to consider before purchasing. All in all, I’m very happy with this purchase and will probably buy more of these as I accumulate more tanks. If any quality issues arise, I’ll update my review.UPDATE: the air pump still works, but over time the small amount of heat it puts of has fused the airline tubing to the pump. I’ve tried using pliers and everything and I can get the tubing off. Not a huge deal to me because it was so cheap and works quite well. I’ll probably just get another one.

It works decently. Both airways seem to pump the same amount of air. The only time I have experienced a noise issue was when I was only using one of the airways. I had the other one closed off with a plastic valve. Almost as though it was building up pressure so it rattled pretty loudly. When I opened the side I closed, the noise stopped completely. Other than that, it does the job. I have had mine for about four months now.
