Installed February 02, 2025. It worked at only $23. The part (79160-s0x-a01, reference "006" on a Honda dealer diagram) at Honda was $626, and other parts stores at $200 to $400, but the other parts stores could never confirm the part number cross check with certainty. My vehicle is a 2006 Honda Pilot EXL 4WD(Nav). The symptom had been air temperature from the dashboard wouldn't change or change sometimes. Yet the air temperature coming into the back seats was always cold. Install is tricky. I ended up disconnecting the old triangular piece from the old part and switching it to the new part. All of those connecting rods were too difficult to disconnect. Also, the new part did not have the same number of pins, but apparently it did not matter, because all modes work perfectly.

This blend door actuator was an exact replacement for 2005 Acura MDX. In fact, it was near identical, and close enough that i was able to exchange the top plastic actuator from the old device to the new one, rather than trying to to disengage the linkage deep in the dash.So far this seems to work perfectly as well, and I was able to adjust the temperature again.Note that some of the negative reviews apparently were ordering this for a mode control actuator and not a blend door actuator. This is for the blend door, or the temperature control. It is a perfect, exact replacement for that.

Daughters MDX was blowing heat in front and cool in the back. I Read-up and the air blend door actuator is the culprit. OEM part is $200 and this part is $25 so I bought this one. I removed the faulty part and they matched up perfectly. The OEM had 7 pins in the clip and this one has 5 which won't cause concern when see there are 5 wires to the clip not 7, and they match up with this products 5 pins. Took 45 minutes start to finish. Easy swap but hard to get to as it is under the passenger glove box, adjacent to the light. All you need is a 10mm socket for the light attachment and a 7mm socket for the mounting screws.
