The unit fit my 2008 F-150 perfectly. Installation took a bit of effort but that was due to the underdash architecture of the f-150. If you do this to your truck expect about a half-hour or so to complete the installation.

I've had this installed for a couple months with no issues. It was a real bastard to install as the space is really small and you have to disconnect the failed unit by feel.Update- died on the way to work today Aug 1st. Bought on May 3.

Was a direct match to OEM part. Had no issues with installation, other than getting to the part which is in an awkward position. I took a shallow socket and cut it in half to allow my ratchet to fit. Made the job much easier.

It is hard to install but only because of where it is located in the truck. Wish they were more durable.
