I have few different security cameras, and this one made by AOSU, is by far, the best one. Good sensitivity, outstanding battery life, and many different options for security alerts, included free immediate notifications to your cell phone, lights and very loud siren. The video and audio quality is also very good.After using it for over one year, I started getting some problems with charging at below 0 C temperatures. However the issue was resolved in no time by OUTSTANDING customer service. I will definitely buy more of them if needed, and for sure will recommend to anyone who is in need of good camera at affordable price.

The image quality is excellent, even at night with infrared. The built-in light is bright, the speaker is loud enough, and the camera tilts and pans smoothly. Overall, it’s a great product, but there are two key points to consider:1) If the temperature drops too much, the solar panel stops working. In Quebec, this means the camera relies entirely on its battery during the winter months. Based on my experience, the battery lasts around 1 to 1.5 months per charge.2) The motion detection can be a bit too sensitive, occasionally triggering even when movement occurs outside the designated intrusion zones. While this doesn’t impact functionality much (you just get extra recordings), it can be inconvenient if you have notifications enabled.That said, this issue might not occur with the aosu hub or aosu cloud subscription, though I haven’t tested either.Overall, it’s a solid purchase for the price, and I would recommend it.

This is the 2nd Solar Camera we have purchased, we also have 2 AOSU doorbells we use. It's very convenient as all of these can be viewed in the AOSU APP, all in 1 place, no monthly fees or charges.We bought "PNY 128GB Pro Elite Class 10 U3 V30 micro SDXC flash Memory Cards" - they work well in these cameras. I especially like how the camera follows you and is rotating. This camera has the Solar panel separate from the camera so you can mount it further away if needed for more light, this is a great feature to have, I prefer these type over those where the panel is directly on top of the camera, more versatility.Also you can charge these with a type C cord if needed, if it's not getting enough solar where you put it. It shows a solar panel & a flash in the right hand corner of your view in the app, so you know it is charging & how full the battery is at any given time. The mounting bracket allows for easy removal of these cameras if needed to take down. These cameras will follow the subject, rotate as needed as you are walking, really enjoying this feature as our doorbells just have a direct view.I tried the Microphone on this when I wasn't at home to speak to my husband outside when he was shoveling snow, he heard me from a nice distance, very pleased with the volume in these, we have older Arlo cameras and this feature was virtually useless, volume too low.Set up was fairly easy, I am not very technical but it went smoothly. I did run into some trouble trying to add these 2 cameras to my husbands Phone with sharing, only to come to learn he needed to UPDATE his AOSU app... that was the glitch, once updated, it worked perfectly. Very pleased with purchase.

Wireless solar cameras are a revolution in consumer cameras. Even if you like a wired system, there are places in a property that are not cost efficient to wire, whether you use 120V or ethernet power. Get a solar camera and place it in that angle that can complement your systems. Or just make a system out of these cameras.This is a PTZ camera driven by AI. PTZ stands for pan (horizontal movements) , tilt (vertical movements) and zoom. The AI system acquires visual matches and follows them as they move around the property, keeping them on target. Matches can be specified in the app. Since this is based on an AI model, you can expect that the tracking and detection to improve over time. AI is still a new field where improvements happen at an exhilarating pace. Furthermore, the two way intercom allows for sound alerts and two way communications.The lens and sensor of the camera are high quality, providing a sharp image night and day, with the possibility of running the unit in color or black and white during the night. As with all photography, extra light is always an improvement, and you can combine the camera with your one spot lights. The camera has illuminators for night vision.Being a wireless camera, you have to provide a WIFI network. I recommend buying a 128GB microSD card and placing it in the camera to record all the clips. AOSU has an optional cloud program, but with the card you do not have to buy a subscription to their service. The camera comes with a complete install and mount kit (base, screws, templates and cables). Configuring the software is a breeze and the app is very nicely designed.Finally, I would say that the price performance ratio is excellent. I totally recommend the camera, either by itself or as a part of a security system with other AOSU cameras and doorbells.

I ordered this 360 PTZ solar camera and let me tell you it is one of the best in the market. I am very happy with my purchase.I received the package and unpacked the contents and boy the items are just fantastic. Camera is well built and study. It comes with a charging wire to pre-charge before installing so the battery is 100% so the solar panel doesn’t have to play catch up. So charge the camera before hand. While the camera was charging I went ahead and turned it on and installed the device to the AOSU app which is fairly easy after registering an account. I link the camera and now I could see the battery percentage while it charged.I played with the pan, tilt and zoom while it was charging and the picture quality is amazing. The connection is very strong at 100% on 2.4G wifi. It also helps that I connected the camera to the mesh wifi box that will be closest to the camera once it’s mounted. Be sure to install a micro sd card in order to record the events. I installed a 32G which is plenty of space. Especially since the camera will loop the recording and overwrite older material. After installing the camera at its location the wifi connection is still at 90% and this is in the alley which is a good 50feet from the closest mesh wifi.I’m impressed with connectivity of these cameras. The mounting was very easy, three screws for the camera mounting bracket and three screws for the solar panel mount. The package included two stickers to guide the pilot holes to drill to make the mounting easy. Once the mounts were secured then the camera just snaps onto the mount and solar panel threads onto its mount .very easy, just make sure to have solar panel be able to absorb the most sunlight throughout the daytime. Once the camera was mounted I tested the quality of the camera’s performance and it has a very clear picture. Pan, tilt, and zoom are excellent on this camera. I tested the motion detection and it would follow my every move. The night vision is awesome you’re able to choose black & white or color night vision and both are outstanding. Overall the value for the money is great and the AOSU Solar Cam D1 SE is one of the best in the market hands down. I will keep purchasing AOSU products as they are just fantastic at a great price!

È la quarta che compro in pochi giorni e la prima di questa marca.Le altre le ho restituite, una aveva il pannello che non caricava, l'altra non seguiva i movimenti, un'altra non rilevava gli allarmi.Questa per il momento funziona.Buona connessione, ottimo materiale, ottima qualità di visione, rileva tutto, e segue tutto quello che rileva.L'app potrebbe essere un pó migliorata ma anche così va bene.Il pannello carica senza problemi, anche dopo un giorno di pioggia la carica era sempre buona.Direi consigliata.Ti sono stato utile?
