Use it to keep an eye on my puppy and it does exactly what I need to the volume is a little lower than I’d like when I use the microphone but still a good camera the app can be a little annoying to use tho

great little cameras for the price. They can be placed in a window and tracks motion & people. However if placed in a window it must be placed higher than the screen to get a clear picture

I’ve been using the YI Pro 2K Home Security Camera for a while now, and overall, I’m really impressed with its performance. The 2K resolution provides clear and detailed video, making it easy to see what’s happening in my home. The night vision is also quite good, offering a sharp image even in low-light conditions. One of my favorite features is AI human detection, which reduces false alerts from pets or moving shadows. The two-way audio is another plus, allowing me to communicate with family members or even deter potential intruders. Setup was simple, and the YI Home app is user-friendly, making it easy to monitor the feed remotely. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that some features, like cloud storage, require a subscription. While you can use a microSD card as an alternative, it would be nice to have more free storage options.Overall, this is a great security camera for the price, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable indoor surveillance solution!

Recomendo. Um bom produto. Alta qualidade. Só deveria ter como salvar os vídeos sem ter que pagar um absurdo por isso.

I bought both cameras, as i have used this camera multiple times, so the box was open torn apart, the seller wrapped it with some cheap wrap to make it look closed, the worst part these are used cameras and they don’t even work, he choose the worst camera he has and put them both in a box, they have the yellow light that can never be fixed, i tried to return it, it says its not eligible for return, just thieves

Really love these cameras.CAMERA: Very good frame, you can choose HD quality and has a great night vision. Charging cord is long enough to set up camera high and get the biggest frame possible.SET UP: was easy : connect to your regular wifi (not 5G), scan the QR code to download the app (YiHome), plug in the camera, you’ll see the connection on the app.FREE/PAY : The free version lets you see the camera in live, so you can see the frame in the present moment but not record. To record and have access to footage you have to pay a monthly or yearly fee. There are 4options to choose from ($CAD per year) : entry 53$ (1camera, 7day history, records activity only), CVR 109$ (1camera, 7day history, always records), standard 135$ (5cameras, 15days history, records activity and AI detection), plus 175$ (5cameras, 30day history, records activity and AI detection).I tried standard but the ‘activity only recording’ never recorded video movement from my cats or my dad in the frame, it only recorded audio activity like talking. I then switched to CVR which worked perfectly, all the time recording and access to the footage, but you can’t choose to have access to the footage longer than 7days and have to buy the monthly or yearly fee for every camera you want the recording on, which can become pricey.TRAVEL: I bought these for travelling and it worked amazing, not one issue and I was 13h flight away, so i guess it works anytime anywhere.NOTIFS: you can choose to have notifications on or off for when activity is detected by the camera. There is an ‘absent mode’ which should not alert you of activity if you’re home but it didn’t work for me so I would turn off notifs when I’m home.OVERALL I recommend cause it’s a great camera and worked perfectly for my 2week trip cause I paid for 1month 2 cameras and can use it as live footage from now on. However for a 24h surveillance security system working in my entire home for an entire year I would find it too pricey overtime to pay the fee for each camera and too bothering to have to switch off notifications every time I’m home.

The camera themselves are good quality. They feel like decent quality, flexible mounting, wide angle availability. Quality is decent enough the talk back feature is a little low but we don't use it often. The set up process is wildly dysfunctional and it's because of the poor app connectivity, and reliability. Was ready to send it back after continuously having error after error just trying to make an account with the app. Walked away and came back an hour later and it for some reason worked. Connecting the cameras to wifi and and the app was fine and simple process. KEEPING them connected was an issue initially. Every time I closed out of the app and re logged in my cameras were gone and I'd have to hard reset them and go through set up all over again. After the first day though, it hasn't been an issue. I will say, unless you're using these cameras to have someone watching them 24/7, they're useless without the subscription. I hate that fact and didn't want to sign up for it, but caved and did. They have SD slots to store video of you want but that seems like such out of date technology. Theres 4 tiers of subscription. The cheapest two were virtually useless. I ended up paying the 99/year option. Allows up to 5 cameras, motion detection, cloud storage and simultaneous split screen view in real time of all active cameras. We've had them for about a month and a half and they've worked fine since that horrible first day.

The most infuriating and disappointing issue is that you can't purchase a cloud service package by the month. It must be yearly and paid up front. They want 149.99 plus taxes, 39.99 plus taxes for the second part of your service, called noonlight. If your curious noonlight provides the security part of these home security cameras. No noonlight, no camera, no security. The upfront $149.99 is supposedly coverage for a year, but that only covers cloud video storage. They DO NOT OFFER ANY MONTH TO MONTH PAYMENTS on anything. Think of them as a Blockbuster deathstar and the cost of membership gets getting higher. With the pandemic that's not even feasible. And there no other option than to pay for the entire year of cloud service and their additional emergency/security services. That would be their partner noonlight. Noonlight is the emergency services and the Monitored/Unmonitored security portion of the system, (noonlight by itself is worh every penny, they are wonderful, I speak with first hand knowledge) if you want the cameras to actually maintain in any semblance of working order for the purposes of security you must purchase everything. Also be careful bc they only run if the powers on. They must be connected to a power outlet at all times. When I purchased my two it specially said it had a back up power source in case of power outages, for to severe weather etc. TO BE CLEAR, THERE IS NO BACK UP OR RESERVE POWER SOURCE. there is no reserve nor any form of back up EMERGENCY POWER of any sort inside of emergencies. The cameras themselves are actually pretty good, you can zoom in and out with ease and the setup is extremely easy once you realize that you have to scan the barcode provided on your screen an not the one on the back of the camera. The night vision isn't worth the effort or money bc it takes too long to get the cameras to refocus, if the slightest light catches it, it goes stark white and takes about 5 mins to completely refocus. All in all, I ended up turning the night vision off completely. (It might work somewhere out in the dead if nowhere, somewhere encased and covered in trees with no moonlight or Stars can penetrate, so artificial or natural light or it will constantly trigger the infared red over and over. Its garbage don't bother. Im very disappointed in the fact that they DID NOT HONOR my 30 day free trial. When I contacted them they basically said, oh, "The trial must have changed to 7 days while in transit to your home. We're sorry for the inconvenience, however you may purchase a yearly plan for $149.99 to have unlimited viewing". Those people are utter morons. In truth I only got 6 1/4 days of actual trial use. They absolutely refused to honored my 30 day free trial, yep that's the same free trial that wasnt included in reality, ( by included they really meant before mailed) with my purchase of the cameras and software for noonlight. There is only one other option, You can put a SD Card in to use instead of their cloud memory, but wait, here's the catch, I did this, spent a fortune on an SD card, but bc it does capture every movement the camera perceives, you must really have a massive amount of available space. By trial and error, lost video, and glitches we came to realize that the adequate amount of storage space should never be less than 1TB.An to answer your next question you can not use other cloud services at this time, ie. No Amazon, no Google, etc. Only yeehaw cloud services are compatible so they leave you no other choice but to shell our the $149.99 plus the $39.99 basic platform to have the actual security company, send a any form of help or assistance. So don't be fooled by the discount on the combo cameras/service so called deals. Its not the camera purchase that costs you so much money, it's getting them functional that's going to drain you dry repeatedly and suck out your soul. That is, if you want to actually be able to use your "home security cameras" for Security purposes, reveiwing the footage and alerts, and the emergency life saving services that must be in place.
