I bought this, but didn't open the package for over a year. Lesson learned. The hardware seems fine. The digital gauge was inoperative. The shaft didn't have any spring to return it to zero. Made the entire tool useless. Emailed customer support..Zero contact. as of May 2022, it is showing unavailable. Which is probably a good thing. Purchased a standard .0001 dial bore gauge of Amazon, and now the tool works. Overall, spend more money on a better unit. don't take a chance with these cheap versions.

I have been able to determine the unit is accurate. The different bore sizes require the use of supplied spacers but neglect how they need to be installed. By using YouTube and playing with the unit I am able to get it to work, but still have more to verify for reliability. From what I have been able to determine it seems to measure quite well. For the price I say it is a good buy but better instructions would have been more helpful.

Best tool for the price! Super easy to use and you can preset to measure taper and out of round without the need of any other tools. Definitely recommend buying, this is top quality without braking the pocket!

"Repeatability" of measurements was difficult at first but after tightening up some loose parts the "repeatability" of measurements improved enough to be acceptable from a perfectionist type personality. It is affordable and reasonably accurate.

Very poor instructions on how to set up and use and the description should also tell you that you need a micrometer equal to whatever your bore size is to set it up for use . However the quality actually seems pretty good for the price.

Works very good. I was looking for a bore gauge that would read down to ten thousandths. And do so reliably. Set it up correctly, with a good micrometer & it will do just that. Couldn't be any happier! The only downside is the buttons are labeled differently than what the instructions show but with a little trial it was easy enough to figure out. At least it came with instructions.
