First, I have to say that I have never had a bad experience with any resin produced by ANYCUBIC. This precision texture resin is no different. Prints come out with great resolution and detail. As to the 14K resolution, I have to admit that perhaps my eyesight isn't what is used to be. I simply don't notice any difference between this resin and ANYCUBIC's other resins. I don't necessarily believe that this is a negative, but if you are expecting a noticeable difference, you might be disappointed. As to the durability claim, I did find that this resin didn't seem as brittle as others I have used. So, you might see more give in some of your tiny intricate details on your prints. Overall, I don't think you can go wrong with any resin that ANYCUBIC produces.

This Anycubic 14K resin produces prints with very good detail. That being said, I printed the same object with settings dialed in for a non-14K, or even 8K resin for that matter, just standard resin and also printed it with the settings dialed in for this resin. I used an Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra, a 12K printer. I also printed using it on an Elegoo Saturn 2 8K.I honestly couldn't see any significant difference between any of them. There may have been some extremely small differences in spots with this 14K resin, but there just isn't enough difference to sell this as 14K resin. I couldn't see any difference at all between the prints on both printers with this resin. It's like the difference between 8K and 14K printers, there isn't a significantly difference in print quality between them. This did seem to be a bit more forgiving and flexible than AnyCubic standard resin, but again not significantly so.A decent resin, but not one I'd say is worth spending extra for, especially if you are buying with the intention of getting better prints from it. If you dial in your print settings properly, you just aren't going to see a difference. If you are printing with a 14K printer (most are actually closer to 12K) and you are looking to get as flawless a print as possible for a show piece, you may want to go for this. However any of the other multitude of resins out there will serve you better.

Anycubic printer resin is a great choice all around. It's rarely let me down. The odor isn't too awful and it's got a great look about it when it's finished. It doesn't get that weird white-looking patches after cleaning and it's really easy to paint the finished product.

These resin produce some amazing detail prints. I use my Mars 5 Ultra. After the print is completed, it's important to clean the prints as much as possible so that all the details are reveal. I normally soak my prints in resin detergent, but for these higher resolution print jobs, I use my ultra sonic cleaner. All the fine details are visible and the strength feels very strong. You can have them cure in the sun for an hour and I think that will be fine for most prints. If you have a UV light, you can let it run for 30mins and that should be good enough. Too much will not destroy your prints, but you'll just be wasting time. As with all resin, make sure you put some time into calibrating it.

I tested this resin back-to-back against Formlabs Creator Tough High Precision resin, for which this product is a rough equivalent to. I received both resins at nearly the same time for review purposes. The printer used was an Anycubic Photon Mono X 6Ks with a print resolution of 34 microns on both the XY axis and 0.05mm layer height. Why is this important? There are some higher resolution printers on the market, such as the Anycubic Photon Mono M7 (which is an excellent printer also). However, the resolution on the M7 is not square - the X axis has a different resolution from the Y. Probably 99% of the time this isn't going to matter for general printing, but for extremely fine details, it means the orientation of the model on the print bed can result in variations in detail. It can result in a slightly "smeared" appearance to fine details as they transition from one axis to the other. While the 6Ks might have slightly lower resolution, the uniform XY axis means that the orientation of the model on the print bed matters less. We're talking nitpicky levels of detail here... BUT, since this and the Formlabs resin are marketed as high precision, this meant that I didn't have to factor in model rotation as much when judging quality of the prints.OK, to the nitty gritty... I'm a miniature painter and I've used a bunch of different resins. Lately I've been relying on Anycubic's water washable line. For extremely low odor and decent level of detail, I get display-worthy models that are very simple and inexpensive to clean. Although I did go back to an Isopropyl Alcohol workflow to test this and the Formlabs resin, it would take a lot to get me to fully go back to that process. Both this and the Formlabs resin just might make me consider it.Where the Anycubic resin excels: The finish. One of the selling points of this resin is the matte finish. To be clear, I haven't found that the "glossy" appearance from other resins seems to result in ACTUAL less detail. It's just harder to see that detail. However, once a flat primer is applied, the details pop. Even so, the matte finish of this resin out of the vat just looks better, and the ability to more easily see the details before getting to the primer stage can help with planning out a paint plan ahead of time.Where the Anycubic resin falls short (kind of ): The odor. I found this resin to have slightly more odor than the Formlabs. Even so, it still wasn't nearly as strong as "standard" resins and about on par with the water washable resin. I have a couple of rechargeable filters inside of my print box and with them running, there was virtually zero odor from this resin, versus absolutely no odor from the Formlabs with the filters running. As far as detail goes, I found this to be a highly accurate resin. Also, the slight flexibility, like the Formlabs resin, will result in more durable models. Chances are a model will still break if you drop it, but they should be much less prone to small parts snapping off during standard cleaning and painting. Is this resin going to be right for you? That depends. It's more costly than standard resin. The increased detail is nearly at a nitpick level. If you aren't a precision miniature painter, the extra quality from this resin will likely not be a factor. If you don't print models with a lot of fine parts prone to breaking, the extra durability might not be a factor. In those cases, cheaper standard resins will likely be a better bang for your buck. But if you print fine detail models where maximum precision matters, then this is an option worth considering.

I don’t think I’ve used the full potential of this resin yet with my Anycubic 6Ks, but it worked flawlessly for me so far. I did a quick test print before diving into a bigger model, and the results were impressive. I might need to increase the washing time slightly for even better results. The resin has a nice color and texture, and it worked well with the default printer settings - no major adjustments needed.I’ve tried several resins from Anycubic and have never been disappointed. This one lives up to the brand’s high standards. Overall, it’s a reliable and high-quality resin that’s easy to work with!
