The casters fit well but the holes in the chair legs may have to be widened with a drill to make to make the casters fit tightly. This is helped by the metal sleeves included with each caster.Some chairs, especially old ones have casters in the front legs only with the back legs having metal broad nails. The back legs are narrower than the front. So, you only need two casters. If you decide to put the casters on the rear narrower legs, be careful of splitting them.Having casters on all your furniture is good for moving the furniture easily when you have to clean the floor or get the cat toy out from under the couch to quiet your irate pussy. (No pun intended)

These caster wheels were easy to install and look beautiful on the furniture. If we need them again I will be purchasing these.

Used on my antique chair and within weeks one of the wheels crumbled. The blunt end scraped my hardwood floor. Definitely under the weight description as mentioned so this is on the product. Would love to get my money back for these but I think that ship has sailed.

Nice, antique looking patina. Replaced original castors on an old, oak swivel office chair and these ones are a good match. Wheels are smaller diameter and metal is thinner than original but they seem to work well.

Easy to install, great quality, works great, and looks even better. Even got 1 of them to work on a broken piece filled with wood putty and extra screws for security.

I bought these casters to replace broken ones on an antique oak wash stand. Installation was easy and they look original. They also roll smoothly. The casters seem well made and I expect them to last for years.

Looked nice, but once put on the wooden chair one of the wheels distorted and rubbed against the bracket. Then the wheel split and came off which was strange since I've never seen rubber split like this. I weigh less than the capacity with the weight of the chair , so that's not the issue. Already threw away the box and couldn't get the stems out of the wood of the chair without destroying the wood, so couldn't return it.

Happy with the size, fit and finish.Just a headsup, make sure you drill the whole about 3/4 inch deeper than the sleeve because the peg that fits in it is 1/2 inch + longer and will "bottom out" on the wood and thus not not lock in to the sleeve.

This caster and the receiver piece work great to replace old style casters. My old library chair had a caster that would fall out and these were super easy to install and the color and style fit in nicely.Arrive on time and I am happy with the purchase.
