I wasn’t sure if these would work, but they actually do.My cat no longer scratches the corners of the couch.While they aren’t exactly attractive, they do at least blend in because they are clear.One piece is the right size for the corner of my couch (I made sure it was placed exactly where she tended to scratch) and they also have sufficient stickiness because they’ve stayed in place for several months.All in all, this was a good purchase because they are effective in doing what they were designed to do.

I purchased a new couch and was nervous about my cat using it as its new scratch post. It has now been five weeks since I had my couch, and my cat has not attempted to scratch the couch with the guards in place. The protectors are great. They have a sticky side that you put to the couch. And I like the clear pins for extra attachment . The protectors are not too noticeable, not to take away from the aesthetics of the couch in the room.For as little as they cost, it is a great investment to protect your new couch.

Have a little fur buddy, that wants to stretch out to cling to everything, including his humans!These panels are a good way to prevent that scratching/cling to a favorite fabric cushioned, side chair.Try them if this is a problem in your home. Easy to apply.

Comes with pins to keep it down but my couch/bed base corners didn't have a good place to use it, so the one from the bed is loose

**Amended review**The company reached out to me after my previous review and offered a refund as well as a replacement package. This came a couple of days later and there were actually two packages! I’m going to try them again and hopefully they’ll stay on the furniture. At any rate, I’m very pleased with the customer service I received!I bought a package of these previously for the parts of the couch where the cats were scratching. They adhered pretty well (the bottoms hang loose, but they’re still in place) and the cats stopped scratching those spots.I bought a second package because, naturally, the cats just went to different spots on the couch. For some reason, the new sheets WILL NOT stay in place. Same couch, same material, different result.No idea why they won’t stay put, but I’m not spending almost $30 to keep picking these up off the floor.

This product has worked great on my leather sofa and upholstered furniture. My cat is no longer interested in shredding her favorite upholstered chair and has successfully started using a scratching post that she had previously ignored. It really took getting furniture protectors to get her to use the scratching board. I initially purchased the smaller 5-pack of protectors and found that I needed more coverage since I have 3 furniture pieces. I now have all of the surfaces covered and have even removed the protector from the leather sofa since the cat does not bother it. I had no residue or issue with removing the adhesive from natural leather. I did use the included tacks to fasten the protectors to my upholstered chair because there are a lot of curves on the chair. These tacks were easy to install and do not appear to damage the furniture. I imagine I will eventually remove these protectors as the cat continues to use the scratching post. I did not use tacks on the leather sofa, and the product adhered to it with no problem. After a few weeks, it is starting to lift in higher traffic areas where we rub up against it frequently, but the goal was to use these temporarily until the cat learns where to scratch. I was also able to remove and reposition these protectors and they still were very sticky.
