Tape has worked wonders for keeping cats from clawing furniture. Fairly easy to install, however the backing paper can be annoying to get off once applied to a surface (tip: use a sharp blade to LIGHTLY score near a corner and you can grab it).Only concern is getting the cats to not LICK the tape, but I think it's just their lack of brain cells.

This works like magic! Put it anywhere cats are wanting to tear up your furniture or walls and add a scratching post near that area and they will understand what you’re telling them! They hate that sticky so they won’t put their paws near it but make sure and give them an alternative such as a scratching post from a pet store or they will just find some other place on your furniture to scratch!

Love this. It’s thin and able to be put in smaller spots that the big sticky sheets can’t. I will repurchase but there’s so much I won’t need to for a while

This has changed my life as I don’t have to fuss at the cat anymore about scratching on the furniture. I should probably change the tape more often because it does collect fur, dust and lint but it is great stuff. The double sided stickiness has dissuaded our cat from scratching the sofa and she now goes to her post more. We had tried all kinds of products and techniques in the past with no success.

Ok it immediately stopped my cat from trying the scratch the sofa and is hardly noticeable until it gets dirty. Once removed though, it left a sticky residue… still trying to figure out how to remove it as the training is done and I don’t need to reapply

This tape is so much easier to use than the sheets I've bought in the past. I can cut as much as I want and really customize the coverage. It removes easily and has kept my furniture safe from kitty claws.

This was a magic bullet for my cat getting into my bookshelves and in front of my tv. I applied it, sat back, and just watched. She hopped up in the shelves, noticed her feet were sticking. She tried to shake her paws but it didn't help. Then she shot me a disgusted look and jumped down on her own. She's tried it a time or two since, same result. It also sticks well to my microfiber couch where she was trying to scratch. It's been a month, still sticky, no scratching. I love that I don't have to play the bad guy by chasing her off things. This tape is so unpleasant she decides for herself to leave it alone.

I tried installing this around the bed and literally threw the roll across the room out of frustration. WAY too sticky on the exposed side, and it wrinkles so easily that getting it to look anything but awful is impossible. The backing on the exposed side is so hard to separate from the tape when peeling, again, because the exposed side is too sticky. I tore what little of it I got around the bed off and gave up. I’d rather the cats just have their way with the bed frame if this is the solution.

When I first unpacked this product I had my doubts. It’s like double sided tape, so the side that is exposed is sticky to the touch. I applied it on the back and sides of my couch that my cats refused to leave alone. I had tried the sprays and they did not work. I have some of the other plastic barriers and it works but it would be pricey to do the whole couch.I tried this tape and they have not even attempted to scratch the couch. When they attempted it after I applied the tape, they both freaked out at the sticky feeling and have left it alone for weeks. The roll comes with plenty for multiple applications or areas. I’m going to remove it for a party we are having and I’m curious if they will stay away.If you want a fast solution to scratching….. this is it.

Funciona, al final es una cinta doble cara gruesa , no tiene diferencia alguna que un papel contact, obvio el gatito se pega y no rasca peroCualquier plástico transparente pudiera funcionar

Works great, until the glue collects all kinds of lint and it looses its effectiveness. It starts to make the couch look ugly. Be aware that you will have to continue reapplying this product whenever it looses its sticky feature. Otherwise, great product. Cat did not scratch where this product was applied.

It seems to be working very well to deter scratching. It has held up very well over several weeks now even when we tend to get stuck to it from time to time. The paper was a major pain to remove during application so a middle split in the paper would be so helpful to the user. Now I'm wondering if I can ever remove it or if they'll go right back to scratching...
