O produto possui bom funcionamento (até o momento), comprei para o meu notebook com entrada HDMI ligar ao meu monitor LG Flatron com entrada VGA. Em relação ao áudio, a princípio o notebook ficou mudo, mas configurei a saída de áudio (Speaker/Headphone) e deu certo. Vale ressaltar que, recebi um modelo diferente da foto e do informado na descrição (a marca não é a Plus Cable, e sim FY com entrada VGA para fora), porém a função é a mesma, e por esse motivo permaneci com o cabo adaptador.

Foi erro meu, mas o produto não serviu para o que precisava. Estou dando 5 para não prejudicar o produto de forma injusta, mas serve como alerta para próximos compradores.Eu comprei este adaptador para utilizar com o monitor LG 25UM58-PF Ultrawide - Monitor Gamer LED 25" Full HD , Preto, super famoso e recomendado aqui no Amazon e em todo o Brasil também.O mencionado monitor somente aceita HDMI.O meu notebook HP Elitebook 840 G3, somente tem saída VGA e Display Port.Até então, utilizava um monitor com entrada VGA e tanto o monitor, como o notebook e o cabo, funcionavam perfeitamente.Com isso, comprei o adaptador com a intenção de manter o mesmo cabo VGA no notebook. Colocar o cabo VGA na entrada VGA do adaptador e a saída HDMI do adaptador na entrada HDMI do monitor. Mas isso não funcionou. O monitor ficou sem sinal.Para resolver, comprei um cabo que é entrada Display Port e saída HDMI e funcionou. Portanto, considero que o adaptador não seja para este fim e não tem utilidade para mim. Tentarei devolve-lo.
