10-21-24 These work great for making thin small personal notepads, a no stitch vinyl/pleather handbag, and even repaired a hinge point on one of my favorite plastic flip top bins. I used a small dab of blue thread lock to prevent the bolt from backing out with use. The uses are only limited to your imagination. These aren't solid brass they just have a gold tone coating so I expect the gold to wear off over time if it's rubbing against something. I'm pleased with them and will order again. These came with 100 screws and I ended up with like three extra screwheads at the end. Of the 100 screws, about 4 of them didn't really properly shut all the way. I'm not sure if that can be fixed or if they're a total loss or not, but I really only needed a couple of these, so having a few that don't want to close right is fine with me, I'm not mad about it at all. But if you desperately need all 100, just be on the lookout I guess!The packaging isn't very sturdy, the box arrived a bit beat up and the plastic bag of screws inside was already torn open a bit, so I'd recommend having another container ready to hold your screws just in case.For me these ended up being absolutely perfect. I wanted some binding screws to use for a postbound book, and finding these in such a pretty color was unexpected! I'd only seen them in stainless steel silver before, but I jumped on this antique bronze color for aesthetics alone.
