This is the second bottle of Angeles dye I bought. The first one was called tan, but it was orange-red. This one was called English tan, but it was more of an espresso color. OK, so I will not bother to try a third time. Angeles shoe dye is off my list now and forevermore.

Product works very well. I used the dye to fix up a pair of shoes that were a little too orange and it worked great. Recommend using a little alcohol to dilute and thin the dye for reduced streaking and a flat bristled brush. The daubers apply a lot of dye at once so use at your own risk. Dyeing leather is a lot like woodworking. Prep and attention to detail with yield the best results.

This is excellent quality dye and I can attest to its resilience and penetration having accidentally knocked a full bottle over on my much loved antique pine kitchen table. Not the dye's fault, obviously. It did what it is supposed to do. Very effectively. This is excellent quality dye, just be careful where you use it. And don't be an idiot like me.
