Easy to apply with the dauber. Q tips were used along edges. Requires going over to get the color even. It refurbished my light tan Skecher sandals and I am very happy with the dark brown color and overall result.

Did not last. First time my shoes got became slightly wet the dye bled through onto my white socks.Compare this product to that cheap T shirt you purchased and the first time you washed it its color bled into the rest of the clothes in the washer. I do not recommend the product.

I was a little hesitant to try to dye my own shoes. I figured they would come out looking fake, streaked, uneven, something. They came out looking like they were made this color. The shoes were a mousy tan color to begin with, so part of the excellent result could be because there wasn't a dark color underneath to compete with the color of the dye. I did clean the shoes first and use a mink oil spray after they dried, but this turned out to be a much better process than I imagined. I have worn the shoes numerous times and they still look great.

I don't usually write reviews but I had to for this product. My fav boots of 5 yrs started to look old and had stains on them, and taking them to a shoe cleaner cost too much. So I decided I'll go ahead and dye them myself! I had very low expectations for myself. I was afraid that I was going to screw up and the color won't look equal at first but then I did the second coat and voila - I had a new pair of boots. It was very easy to apply and I only used half the bottle! Now I have 1.5 bottles left and I'm looking forward to dye other suede shoes :)
