What size Rapid Hitch do you need?
-First Measure from the top of the receiver to the ground.
- -If the measurement is 20" or less, the 4" drop is for you.
- -If the measurement is 20"-24", the 6" drop is for you.
- -If the measurement is 24"-28", the 8" drop is for you.
- -If the measurement is 28" or more, the 10" drop is for you.

- Choose from our Plated Steel Combo Ball for heavier tow loads, or our Greaseless Alumiball for grease free tow ball and trailer coupler.
Weight Rating & Certifications
Our Rapid Hitch is light-weight, yet strong enough to tow a variety of trailers. The greaseless alumiball version can hold from 5,000-12,500 lbs. The plated steel combo ball version can hold from 7,500-12,500 lbs. All hitch versions have a 1,500 lbs tongue weight rating.
Each Rapid Hitch meets V5 and SAE J684 certifications.

To be honest with you, this hitch is very durable and sturdy, but a little bit pricey. It comes with 2 balls which I only use 2" side and it has a lock which makes it anti theft. Remember, your reciever supposed to be 2.5" in order to fit this hitch. Unlike other brands, it's very weightless and when I tow my travel trailer, it doesn't play on the frame at all.

This hitch arrived intact and in new condition inside a generic box. Installation and use are about as easy as it gets. It's a solid hitch that works as described. Would recommend.

I picked this hitch up to use with my Dakota, and the construction quality on this is absolutely amazing. Beautifully machined aluminum, not a burr anywhere on this thing. Really good and beefy as well, with a great range of upwards and downwards adjustment.Unfortunately - I didn't realize this was a larger-than-standard shank! It won't actually fit my truck, I need a 2" hitch shake. I'm honestly probably going to straight-up buy the 2" version of this, just because this thing is excellent.

This is a heavy duty hitch, and I have a lot of trust that it will hold the advertised weight. The caps have stayed on the balls so far, but seem like that is a wear item, and I'm not sure on how to get replacement parts. Overall a good buy.

This is my third Rapid hitch ( first black one ). I have been extremely happy with the durability and ease of use. The only issue I have experienced was the greaseless cap came off the 2"ball on my last hitch.

I have own Andersen hitches before and was very satisfied with them. This was why I purchased this one. I received it and install on my truck. Hooked up my flat bed trailer. While driving my tractor onto the trailer the balls came out of the hitch and partially damaged my bumper. Upon investigation I noticed the internal pin that holds the balls in was never installed from the factory. I contacted them and they said sorry and they would send me a pin to install. They are still great quality but I would encourage you to inspect the internals before using.
