F150 bumper is rated for 5,000 lbs so it can handle more than the hitch itself. I ordered a return one for a discounted price (it was a little scratched up). Unfortunately it did not come with bolts but I think it was supposed to. I bought two 2 1/2" 5/8 bolts, two nuts, two lock washers for the bottom, and two flat washers for the top. I pulled the plastic up so I could put the bolts through and cover them back up without cutting holes in the plastic to run them through. There were two plastic pieces that stuck down through the metal underneath I had to cut after putting the hitch on.There will be a gap between the hitch and top of the bumper where you mount it, so you might want spacers in there. I fabricated something at work for it. Might be ok to mount it without, but it will only be touching in the front and back.Looks great

Illegal advertising practices. The box I received does not have an American flag on it that is shown in the picture. Instead, it clearly says made in China! Fraud. Fraud. Fraud. So tired of this ****, and, yes, it will be a while before I buy my next thing off Amazon. As for the product itself, it comes with 2 huge bolt that are almost 1 inch in diameter! How do they expect me to drill such holes in the steel bumper? I don't own an industrial-grade drill press. I will be welding the thing instead. On the positive side, the product appears to be very solid on the surface, but I had bad luck with chinese steel and don't trust it.

Although I have not installed this yet a I checked holes and matches bumper holes, This in my opinionis very sturdy and good quality. A great purchase and very fair price and for this i give it 5 stars..

This item arrived today and the only reason I purchased was due to the fact it states clearly on the box in the ad, the item is Made in the USA. The minute I opened the packing box, I knew by looking at the product's box, it was made in China, you get to know this by just the appearance. The box is clearly marked Made in China. I can only assume the included hardware is also made in China also. Never again.

It looks like it's custom for the bumper on my 1993 Toyota Pickup. I could not use the carriage bolts that came with it and had to spend about $10 at my local True Value for suitable hardware. It should work fine for the bike rack and cargo rack that I have. I think I'd want a regular hitch to tow anything more substantial.

Installed on 2003 Toyota Tundra. Couldn't use the 5/8" x 3" carriage style bolts that were supplied because they were too short and would not go in flush on the top side. Bought 5/8" x 4" hex style bolts and extra washers to use instead. Tucked the extra washers under bumper cover to existing holes and dropped new hex bolts down through. You'll need to use the other supplied flat washers as spacers on the bottom (4 per bolt) so hitch will clear bottom of bumper. It will look like the "Ford Bumper Style 2 " example provided in the installation instructions, except there will be an extra washer on top side under the hex bolt's head. Used the elongated holes on hitch for mounting.
