The Receiver‘s patented Smart Sensor feature instantly displays the location and orientation of energized wires in walls, floors, and ceilings. You can clearly see the wire’s direction on the large, bright TFT LCD full color display. In hard-to-reach areas, you can use the Receiver’s Tip Sensor to trace wires in corners, tight spaces and junction boxes. The Transmitter offers two, automatically-selected frequency modes for optimal tracing on energized and de-energized circuits, and three power modes (high, low, clamp) for a variety of environments. You'd "think" the AMPPROBE name would carry a WHOLE LOT of weight, wouldn't you....They totally choked on this one. They put out a very MARGINAL product, and used their NAME to charge a high price for it.. It's totally frustrating to use...Their tracers from 10 YEARS AGO are FAR better than this piece of 💩...Be WARNED... mine's going BACK👈👈👈✅

I watch you tube and read manual the only 2 features that work is find the breaker on live system and ncv. I have a short in my house the wires are in walls and roof. I cant get this to trace a wire more than 3 feet from soarce of transmitter and manual says not to use within 3 ft. what a waste of 1400
