These bits were purchased for drilling tree stumps. They were never expected to be used long term. They are good for about 6 holes before they dull and overheat.If your project calls for a limited number of holes, these bits are adequate. If you are looking for something to keep and use long term, you will want higher grade bits.

I had to drill many many holes, and this didn't stay sharp. By the time I had drilled the hole through a 1" board it was already noticable duller.I can't imagine using it on anything harder.But it was inexpensive, & I guess I gottje quality I paid for.
