Just used this for a week at the NJ beaches. It worked great, very easy to put in the sand and it holds tight. It is all metal so is sturdy. I don't know if it will rust eventually but looks like strong powder coat paint. I wish the design could feature fold down handles because they stick out of the umbrella bag. It is heavier than the plastic Ammsun model that is $2 cheaper. I did not try that one, but it got good reviews too. I went with the metal one which I perceive would hold better but I did not test the plastic one. If weight is an issue carrying it, I would try the plastic one.

Just what I needed. Worry free when I'm on the beach and it's windy. So much better than the plastic ones. Great quality and comes in a drawstring pouch. Worth the investment for piece of mind.

I wish I would have found this beach umbrella anchor years ago. This anchor is so easy to use...really grips the sand from the first twist...it's the BEST anchor I have ever used and I have purchased many anchors.I live on a very windy beach and this holds my beach umbrella no matter how windy it gets! There's no need to dig a hole in the sand...just place the anchor on the sand and screw the anchor into the sand. 5 STARS!!!!!

The plastic parts are flimsy. It hasn’t broken yet but I assume soon they will. The metal parts are strong but the screw and plastic cover not so great
