Fast delivery!!!I absolutely LOVE my two glider chairs and glider bench. Easy assembly, strong, sturdy and comfortable, smooth gliding comfort seating. I made two errors on my order. #1 I didn't realize the cedar stain was so orange. I wish I had ordered oak stain instead. #2 I should have ordered a 6' bench instead of the 4'. Nevertheless, I'm sure the cedar stain will dull in color as it weathers. The 4' bench is OK, but 6' would have been better. My error not the company error. Highly recommend and would order from this company again.

I finally got around to putting this together today after buying it 45 days ago.. Very happy with the purchase. We bought the 48" and it comfortably seats 2 in my family without feeling crowded. Overall very sturdy, all holes lined up, no cracks, and no complaints! Obviously, ours will not be under a covered porch, so I do plan on applying water seal, then covering it when not in use. By taking these measures, I have had my previous Amish furniture last 20 years, and hoping this will last as long.

The assembly was a two man job, but not too difficult. My only complaint fit the finish. The glider is stained, but the wood is not smooth. It is rough to the touch. For the money, I expected the wood to be sanded smooth before the stain was applied.

Went together very easily. It’s really comfortable and is a good height even for shorter people. The quality seems to be top-notch. No splitting in the wood, it’s all cut to exacting length and the stain was evenly applied. The hardware is quality material and a star bit is supplied for the screws. You definitely get your moneys worth with this bench.

1. Protective materal shipping pkg. was almost nonexistent. Allowing the parts to rub together during shipment. This caused rub marks in the finish that did not deminish when re stained. 2. I understand the the stain has to be multi state compliant. Not water proof at all. Only good under cover where it would remain dry. Also there was runs in the stain that drained out of the assyembly holes when placed in a drying rack. Attention to detail lacking. A simple wipe with a rag would have sufficed. Leaving this glider exposed to the ellements would have destroyed this glider. Water absorption and freezing temps would crack the wood into junk. 3. Good sanding on the outside radius's ,poor on the inside radius's. One leg of the base not sanded at all. I re stained this glider with a water proof oil stain. The gliders stain was so porius that I stained it three times before it stoped being absorbed. The over all construction is good. I would recommend this product but with the caution of re staining with a quality water proof oil base stain. I have not assembled it yet and will update.Assembly took 30 minutes. Only one issue. One of the wood screws on the base intersected with the bolt hole that connects the bearing bracket. This is a predrilled hole from the manufacturer. As a result I had to back out the screw so the bolt would assemble. Then retighten the wood screw till it came in contact with the bolt. Added water proof red grease to the bearing's. Am satified with product. Comfortable, with a nice gliding motion.Photo to follow.

This was a great find. Must have looked at hundreds of gliders online. They were either too heavy or too light or of weak construction. So many would not hold more than 120 pounds and were much more expensive. The gliders that held more weight were clumsy looking or huge. The Amish Heavy Duty Porch Glider is the Goldilocks of porch gliders. Solid construction, easy to assemble and at 65 pounds a reasonable weight. The glider mechanism is very smooth and the Cedar Stain finish is very attractive. So happy I found this glider.
