I will Always recommend American Standard toilets as a good quality product to all my customers.However this is the first time I have had to order a tank online for the configuration. purchased in August and received it in a timely manner. Took it out of the box for a quick look for obvious damage, none seen. I put it back in the box and in storage container until needed for install in October. Installed the tank and it immediately leaked. It had a hair line crack and is no longer returnable. I ordered one from a plumbing company which arrived fast and packaged with extra protection. Lesson Learned, test your items before the return window closes. now I am wiser.

This toilet tank assembly is an exact replacement for the original tank that cracked after two years of use. Meanwhile, the toilet in our other bathroom is over 25 years old without any issues other than a few flush valve replacements. So I have to wonder about the quality of foreign made toilets with American branding. I'm willing to give this new tank 4 stars for good initial quality, but will reserve the fifth star until it proves more durable than the first one. I will say that the packaging was exceptional with spray foam in a double box that probably would have survived a nuclear blast. Also, the tank arrived completely assembled and included a special nut driver for the tank bolts such that no tools were required.

This toilet tank goes perfectly with my new American Standard Cadet Pro toilet (number 3517A.101.020). It posed no problems during installation and it works like a charm! The tank fills up rather quickly after you flush the toilet and the internal parts and mechanisms like the trip lever all work quite well. Moreover, it does its job while only using 1.28 gallons of water per flush!The tank is perfectly designed to go well with the American Standard Cadet Pro series of toilets.Highly recommended.
