Like many others I saw in the reviews prior to purchase, I made the mistake of using too hot water and ruined the original tank on my carpet cleaner. It was a GREAT RELIEF to quickly find this product with other reviewers assuring us that this purchase would quickly make our carpet cleaner whole again. IT WORKS... and as luck would have it, we got the purple accented container which matches our carpet cleaner perfect. Happy camper

Bought to replace a leaking tank. Although color is different than original tank , it fit exactly and was well made

I was afraid that it wouldn't work because they shipped us a different color than the one pictured. But it works perfectly. The bottom water valve in ours had developed a very big leak and the water would pour out the machine before we even got started vacuuming. Happy to have a replacement. Wish we could have just bought a valve. But that is a manufacturer error, not the seller.

Added hot water to original dispenser and it expanded the plastic no longer fit, found this replacement and it fit just fineWorked like the original. No leaks

So what had happened was.......... 😳 I decided to put boiling hot water in my water tank to achieve a crisp and cleaner carpet. But I melted my water tank. Desperate to get this fixed, I went to Amazon to find a replacement. The replacement picture was yellow and grey and that was fine as I didn't care what color it was, I just needed it to fit. When it came, it matched the carpet machine perfectly. I put a little hot water in it (from the sink this time, lol) and gave it a test run and it worked perfectly.The price was right, it fits and there are no leaks.
