I have a 7 month old puppy and have been on the hunt for something to keep her busy and redirect her from chewing my window sills. UgggThese are a great size, safe, clean ingredients and no odor. She loved these chews so much she spent a loooong time just trying to find the perfect place to “bury” them in the house. Lolol

I first saw these in the gift bag that came with our standard poodle puppy. Both of our standard poodles, ages 11 and 1, LOVE these chewy treats. Our older dog has kidney disease and must eat a low-protein diet, so I can't let him chew for hours and slowly consume one of these because they are essentially 100% protein, but he enjoys whatever time he gets to have these. The 1-year old loves these, as well. They are a bit pricey, but they last a LONG time.

Previously purchased the roles, which were a little big for my medium size dog. He seems to love these though. They last a long time.

I thought for sure these would be a winner for my bully pup. I had picked up some square "chewies" from the dollar store, and she annihilated the bag in just a few days. After that, I thought for sure she would adore these as they are several times thicker than the ones she had loved from just a few days before.Unfortunately, she just didn't care for them. I would hold one out and she would pretend to take it and then let it just fall out of her mouth or she would just refuse to even do that, and would slowly back away instead.I didn't want the purchase to go to waste, so I started spreading a little peanut butter on them and that did the trick, although I will warn you that she would frequently lose interest once the peanut butter had been thoroughly licked off.I still have them 3 stars because in every other way, they seemed fine to me. Thick, the right consistency, etc. and the truth is my dog is incredibly picky. She is so picky in fact that she often has a treat she absolutely loves, and then a couple weeks later she will spit the same "favorite treat" out. If you've never seen a dog "pa-tooie" a treat...it's a sight to behold.I would never want to punish a company for my prima Donna dog's fickleness!Bottom line: they seem ok by all accounts but if there's some secret thing that makes them awful that I'm unaware of as a member of the human, rather than canine club, I assure you they can be "dressed up" with copious amount of peanut butter.Beyond that: I noticed no effects on her skin or coat but these arent problem areas for her. However, they are incredible durable and long lasting. In fact, I recently found one hidden under her bed from months ago, and for the first time I can remember, she was quite happy to see her "old friend." At least until she made short work out of it.
