They work, they look ok and are easy enough to install but I've had 2 of the top button piece pop up already. Tried seating it a little harder on the second try but it didn't do much better. Ended up dripping a bit of solder into the back of the button to keep it attached to the nipple that hammers into it.

This kit is such a good value. It contains a variety of snaps, and everything you need to apply the snaps except a hammer. The instructions are good, but they also have a video. I was looking for a more polished look than a sewn-on snap, and I am very happy with the result and ease of installation.

Bought to fix a snap that fell off my jacket. Was pretty easy to use, but it doesn't come with a hammer so you have to use your own.

This work very well. The ‘but…’. Is because it takes some (!) work and practice to figure out how to use it.There is a fairly good diagram and several very good YouTube videos on how to use it all. Also it takes four separate pieces to work it. They are all mixed up in one bin, with several bins for different colors and types. . One has to identify each of the four different pieces in the bin you want, among it all. But, Once you figure it all out, and it is worth the effort, it works great on leather projects.

My husband broke a snap on his shirt. This kit perfectly fit the bill to replace that broken snap. It is slightly different than the other snaps, but unless you get very close, you cannot tell the difference.

I recently purchased the Alritz 17mm Leather Snap Fasteners Kit, and it has been a game-changer for my DIY projects. The kit includes 72 sets of metal button snaps in four colors—gold, silver, bronze, and black—each with 18 sets per color. This variety allows me to match the snaps to different materials and designs effortlessly. The included setter tools make installation straightforward, even for beginners. Whether I'm repairing jackets, customizing bags, or working on other crafts, this kit provides everything I need for professional-looking results. Highly recommend for anyone into leatherworking or DIY projects.

These snaps were pretty simple to use.....once you understand how the 4 parts work and how to install them. My only issue is with the size of the hole the "hole installer" tool makes. If you are installing the hole (with the tool) into a very sturdy fabric such as denim or leather ( if in fact this size snap can be installed into fabric of this thickness), they seem like they would work well and hold up nicely. However, if, like me, you chose to install these into a sweatshirt, they might not be the best option. I noticed that the hole I made with the hole puncher was too big and that entire side of the snap, once snapped together with the other side, came totally off of the fabric, stayed snapped closed and slipped through to the other side. This left one side of the sweatshirt with a tiny, perfectly round hole...... and no snap! Perhaps if I had a little round shaped "reinforcer" I could have made that hole more sturdy. I ended up replacing that side of the snap with new snaps......using E6000 glue as a reinforcer!Additionally I noticed that, once installed, all of the snaps did not snap closed. Perhaps I was a bit heavy handed with the installation.Fyi: It would be a good idea to separate these snaps into 2, 2 part sections. It will help with the installation once you understand which 2 parts go together on the left side of the fabric and which 2 parts go together on the right side.
