I have used these with cotton/polyester canvas for a fireplace cover, with felt for a quiet book, with garment-weight leather for a magnetic bookmark and with cotton woven for a purse closure. The strength of the magnets is impressive. The plastic covering can be trimmed off with scissors to fit your application.

Pretty strong magnets and worked for my purpose. I used them on a dance costume to rip off pieces throughout the dance. There was a learning curve for me since I didn’t realize that there was a right and wrong side to them. There is a gold side and silver side so bd sure you match them up correctly for the best magnetic holding power. I had never used magnets on costumes until now.

It’s a decent product for a rip off of good brands like By Annie and Sally Tomatoe. Same size and good enough magnet, but weaker than the By Annie one. Also, the plastic is way thicker and less flexible. But you can still sew over it.If you are making a delicate piece, I would go with the real ones with better quality. But these are good enough for some projects.

Read prior reviews of people questioning the strength of the magnets saying it’s not as strong as the picture might indicate. I received mine and had to test them myself. They are pretty strong (as you can see from the picture). I even rotated my finger in different angles.The plastic film around them is easy to sew on and keeps it waterproof if you’re using it for things needs to be washed. Overall good product.

Seeing the pic of the magnets holding onto a finger, I thought these would be quite strong. Unfortunately they aren’t. But really a smart design with the plastic square.

I bought these before a Thanksgiving Day Turkey trot. I knew I would have a sweatshirt on and thought I might have to use more than just 4 magnets (1 for each corner). None of them would stay attached. I then tried them on a regular tshirt and that didn’t work well either. They are not strong enough to do the job

I will definitely buy them again. They are really great to use, make sure the fabric isn't too thick, otherwise, it might not stick together.
