I'm in the camp of 'there is no perfect vest'. That's true of this one as well, but it's pretty dog-gone close! I took out the frame immediately. So I can't speak to that component. My biggest complaint-which isn't new if you've done any research on this vest, is how the seat secures. The magnets are pretty much useless if you're trying to walk. The clips for the seat are sturdy and do keep it secured, but it's a bit awkward to snap.Otherwise, I love the pot call pockets, striker pocket is enclosed so they don't fall out. Seat is comfortable, plenty of storage, the water bladder pocket is well done.Really, if they would fix the seat deployment, this would be pretty much perfect.

Well worth the price for what you get, the legs were different couldn’t get them to stay. But found the nut to tighten clamp and work perfect. Cellphone pocket it handy being at a place to have to keep attention to my phone.

This look awesome. Haven’t tried it in the field yet but the stiching looks good and the seat is sturdy and comfortable. It’s has pockets for every type of call, extra shells and tons of other stuff. I’m excited to try it

The TIDWE vest is very similar to the Alps vest. When I got it, I noticed that the color wasn't quite right but otherwise it looked ok. I tried it on and adjusted the fit and everything seemed fine.Quality is good with a slightly fuzzy RealTree material. So I tucked it away for later.Today I was looking at reviews of the Alps Grand Slam vest and I noticed a few other features that were different. But it was a good deal so why complainSo I looked at my vest. Very clearly on the inside of the back it says TIDWE in large letters. And I just hadn't connected the dots. There are no side water bottle pockets or cell phone pocket. There are sufficient outside pockets and additional mesh inside pockets to make up for it. Frame and leaning legs look good. I guess we will see how it goes. Not what I ordered but it seems to have what I need. We will see.

UPDATE on my review below: Sherper's, the seller reached out to me about the ALPs Z turkey vest. Jeremy, to be specific handled my issues by sending me out a new vest within 2 business days of reading my review. I cannot say enough about the customer service he provided. He went above and beyond and took care of me, the customer first and then took the issue up with the manufacturer afterwards. This is how it's supposed to be. Great job Sherper's! Excellent job Jeremy.I purchased this vest on March 30th, 2022 from Amazon as a replacement for my old vest of 15 years which is faded pretty bad. No rips or tears, just faded. After reading all the hype, I decided on the ALPZ Grand Slam. I hunted in the vest 3 times and on my most recent hunt on April 30th, as I went to place my box call back into its pocket, I noticed that the the vest had ripped apart at the seam (see pics). Amazon's website says the NLT return date was April 27th, a mere 3 days before my disaster. I'm not sure who will see this however, I have hopes the ALPS Outdoors will and do the right thing and send me a replacement vest ASAP as the TN turkey season ends in two weeks on May 15th.

This vest is well built in regards to stitching and zippers. However...the magnetic seat system needs improved! The location of the magnets make it impossible to secure the seat when using the rear game pouch (carrying layers, snacks, decoy, etc.). There are some DIY methods for securing the seat other ways, but for the price, ALPS shouldn't have dropped the ball on this (or any) part of the vest. The frame is removable, which lightens the load somewhat and makes carrying a gun via a sling much easier. Pockets are placed conveniently and there are enough of them to carry the essentials. Overall, it's a great vest with a poorly designed seat attachment system.

Awesome turkey hunting vest. Very comfortable for long sits. I love the detachable shoulder straps makes it very easy to stand out of the vest from sitting if u want to go for a walk. Great pockets for shells, calls, cell phone and tags. Worth every penny!

I received my Alps Grand Slam today. I think the leg adjusts will take some getting used to but, overall, I think this vest.It is comfortable and by adjusting the legs in and out, you can sit in different positions. The large duck feet swivel as well. There is plenty of storage in this sucker too. I really like the silent box call feature as well. No more unnecessary noise while trudging through the woods. There are plenty of pockets and loops for strikers, ammo, pot calls, mouth calls, water resistant cell phone pouch (sadly, my case is too big so it won't quite fit so my license and transport tag and ink pen will go inside it), room for call conditioners and chalks, thermacell, bottled water, folding saw, crow call and headlamp. That's most of my gear anyhow. There's not a whole lot of adjustment straps however, I don't think mine needed too many. The 3" seat cushion felt comfortable for the short time I sat in it. Perhaps a few hours in the woods will tell a different story. The magnets seem to hold ok but, for long or fast running and gunning, I'd use the buckle fasteners anyhow. And speaking of long or fast running and gunning, if you locate a distant long beard and don't want to carry the extra weight of the seat/frame, it detaches pretty quick and easy
