I am new to turkey hunting, it's a long story as to how I got into this at my age, but I did. A couple years ago when this started, my sister and I learned about hunting blinds - for a tiny bit of backstory, she used to hunt turkey years ago, and back then it was totally different. Back in those days, you had to find a place sit in stillness and work really hard to not be seen by turkeys. Turkeys are tricky to hunt - they are birds, so they don't have a sense of smell, but they have very good eyesight. They will see you long before you see them. So we were very excited to find a good deal on hunting blinds that we could sit in, in comfortable chairs because we are middle-aged women! I have a bad back, I need a chair to sit in, I am not going to sit on a log for 4 hours! But also I don't have a lot of money to spend so the blinds we got are very functional... But the bags they came in are ridiculously cheap. We knew that when we purchased them, and we didn't really care for that.I figured if the bags broke I would sew it up. But like I said I am new to hunting, and my sister to rely on for information on this stuff is kind of new to modern hunting too so we learned about blinds but we did not know per se about blind bags? To see that they had these was like eye-opening and super exciting. I honestly cannot tell you how excited I was for these, and because I gave you a little TMI and mentioned my bad back, I will also say that I am tickled pink that they have backpack straps to them. Perfect considering that most turkey bags and vests put everything up front so I can carry this on my back and carry my gear in the front. Works for me.We were both so excited to get a bag that as soon as it came, we got out of blind and tried it out. Here's the thing - these would probably work for a larger blind but ours is an average one...? You can barely stand up in it it's really meant to be sitting in. So I'm sure the larger ones fit in it great but I have to say that we discovered that we could put ours in this and have one of the separatable walls (because we have two blinds and they are built where you can zip them together to make one large blind) already zipped off and still keep it in the same bag for storage. Is little hard to explain unless you've ever had to deal with a hunting blind before but they'll fold up pretty good, yet when you unzip part of them that is now its own thing and putting them in together takes up more room? I apologize that's a little weird to explain. But it stands that these had enough room in it for making it very easy to put both pieces in there for convenience where we won't have to worry about unzipping them on the spots... It just makes it easier. Now if you suggestions I have to the makers of the bags - these work great and I'm giving them full stars because I love the purpose that they serve. But I will say that I do feel like the backpack straps should be a little higher up, they sit a little awkwardly. It's not that big of a problem, and it's certainly better than the weird cheap strap on the bag that they originally came with, but the straps for backpack need a little bit of work. They're not bad they just need some work. It would be a little bit easier to balance the weight if they sat a little bit lower. Also the top is a little odd for rolling down and then snapping it across the top? It works fine for what it does, but it also is not the most secure thing? It'd be better if you could tighten those straps down a little bit more instead of it looking like a purse handle, lol. That purse handle does kind of come unrolled a little bit easier. But literally other than that, the quality of the material is fantastic, it's very sturdy and reinforced at the bottom, I even like the pockets on these for a few thin items... It really is a very nice product if you need a bag like we did. We barely knew we needed one, but as soon as I saw this I knew I needed it! Would absolutely buy again.

I've purchased several KalKal products and the materials and workmanship are great. This is my second blind bag and this one is smaller than my first one. This fits a two person blind, but it's very close in length. Be cautious as to the size of your blind and make sure you get the right size bag. My 3 person blind would never fit in this bag, but it fits in the larger bag they make that is just like this one. This bag is right in the price point for similar bags and it's very easy to use and pack your blind away. The half zipper makes getting your blind packed up easy for one person and the exterior storage is great for detachable floors, ground stakes and lines, and other incidentals you might want to keep with your blind.

I’m not going to pretend I know as much about this bag as I should. My information is second hand from my husband. He’s the one who told me the features are everything he will need for the next hunting season. It large enough. It has two ways to carry it. It fits his equipment with enough room to carry his spoils (if he has any). He’s a good hunter and doesn’t take a shot unless he knows it’s a good one so I’ll take his word for it. He says he can fold it over and it will keep odors in. Look at the dimensions and you’ll see it’s a large bag that has more than enough room for everything you need for a day (or night) of hunting. He says I can use it for kayaking to and it won’t leak if it’s closed properly even if it falls in the water. I won’t be taking this in my kayak because it’s almost half the size of it. So overall the review is based entirely on my husbands opinion and he says this is a good product for the right price and he likes it much better than his last bag, which didn’t look anything like this one BTW

Grabbed this for an all in one hunting dry bag but I found myself using it on the boat and for hiking. If you're looking for an all purpose dry bag, it will be money well spent. Also, the material on the outside of the bag is soft which I found nice for cutting through branches and brush quietly.

These are pretty nice blind bags. The material is nice and thick, they're well constructed, and overall they work well. I'm not 100% sold on the closure at the top, so time will tell with more use. All-in-all, a great option if your blind didn't come with a carrying bag, or your bag is work out with use.

So, I’ve been looking for a bag for a specific purpose. We have one those plastic fabric rugs you lay on the ground outside your camper that really helps keep the inside of the RV clean. The problem is that when you fold up this rug, you gather all that dirt and sand it kept out of the camper. Then you put the rug back in your cargo pass-through area and it sheds the dirt and sand. I needed a duffle bag that would hold the 6x12x36" folded rug . . . and now I found it. A simple bag would have been sufficient, but for less than $30 this bag is much more. It is fabricated from a waterproof Oxford fabric. The main compartment has an extra length of fabric that allows you to roll it down and snap it closed like a dry bag, so what is inside will stay dry. In addition to padded shoulder straps that let it be carried like a backpack; it has multiple closure straps with snap buckles. The sides have straps sewn in place to provide loops for attaching other items to the outside of the bag. The main compartment has a medium duty zipper that unzips almost halfway down the bag to lay the main compartment open for easy access. The back side has one large and two small easily accessed pockets. There is a section of webbed bungee and various other attachment loops and bungees on the bag. The Kalkal hunting gear storage bag is just what I’ve been looking for. It is very well made and reasonably priced. This is an excellent gear bag for transporting long items.
