It's the size I wanted but was hard to utilize all of it due to the zipper closure not being full length. I removed the zipper and stiched on velcro instead since I wanted full closure.

The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the zipper is not as long as the opening which leaves a small gap not enclosed and a slightly smaller access into the main pocket. It also makes accessing the inside smaller zipper pocket for special items slightly more inconvenient.Other than that, the bag seems pretty sturdy for the price. No, it isn’t invincible, but it held a fair amount of heavy fossils I found on my recent lake vacation. I look forward to my next beach trip with this bag.

This shell bag is a little small however I should have looked at the dimensions more carefully. It’s well made and did the job of holding shells I collected while on Sanibel Island. Easy to rinse them off in the bag before returning to the hotel. I will bring it to the beach this summer for the grandkids to use. I recommend this product but just know it’s not very big if you are planning on collecting a lot of shells.

This bag is the bomb! Purchased for my beach combing and rock hounding. Lots of smaller separate pockets along with a good sized medium bag that I use to keep my smaller finds separate. The shoulder strap is wide and comfortable that has a great adjustment to be used around my waist too. Bought this bag for gifts for my hounding friends. Will buy again, when this one wears out. So far been using it for rocks 2 years and has held up without tears or damage.

We have tried a lot of shell bags and this one is the BEST! First of all, it is more durable so it will hold lots of heavy shells. It is also very comfortable on the shoulder, due to the thick adjustable strap. It also has three helpful compartments: one zippered one on the inside and two on the outside. We have several for when guests go with us.

I loved this bag for shelling. I love that it has an interior zip pocket where I could put my phone. I love that it’s a sturdy mesh. I love that it has some outside pockets for the sand dollars. I would highly recommend this product.
