This is really bright! Even in the daytime, it shows up the dog pee in my carpet that's not visible in normal light, so I know where to spray the Nok-Out.

I've spend money on cheaper version of this and now I regret it! This is worth every penny! Thank you :)

I use this product for night-time mineral exploration. It's seemingly- tough, and has survived many drops while in operation. The USB-C plug seems to be the only weak point (outside of the obvious glass front,) with mine not working any longer after about 20 charge cycles. Not a big problem as I have dedicated Li-ion chargers, but still frustrating to a small degree. However, the flashlight has basically stopped working. Freshly-charged batteries, and in order to make it work, I have to smack it, and still the power switch shows a red light instead of the typical green light. Upon opening the light (it simply unscrews) and looking at the driver board with my electronics microscope, all three ICs seem to have internal damage near the pins connecting to ground (see first image.) The switch transistor/MOSFET appears fine and all resistors and capacitors look functional and test okay on my multimeter. In terms of physical construction, the light is wonderful, but I think a different set of ICs or perhaps more thermal regulation/removal on the driver board itself is needed to address my issue with this light.

After testing quite a range of filtered 365nm UV products, Alonefire has proven particularly good for use in mineral inspection, especially opals. The H42UV provides a powerful beam with 4 lithium batteries producing around 45 watts. Highly recommended!

I use it for spotting tomato hornworms at night feasting on tomato leaves and fruits. The worms fluoresce bright green and are easy to spot. Be sure to wear the supplied safety glasses. Even though 365nm is mostly out of the visible spectrum, it's obvious that the light produced is powerful and can probably damage the eyes. The 'flashlight' itself is made from heavy duty aluminum with o-rings to keep water out and powered by 4 rechargeable lithium batteries.

Outstanding performance with a rugged all-metal design! The flashlight can illuminate stains, etc. even in a room with daylight, though it won’t work outdoors in the sun. It features two intensity levels and uses four removable rechargeable Lithium batteries. The batteries can be charged within the unit itself via a USB-C connector, so there’s no clutter from an external battery charging station. A charging cable is included but a USB charger is not supplied. A yellow tinted pair of glasses is provided for eye protection against UV light, and the entire kit is packaged in a nice presentation box suitable for gifting. When shopping for a UV flashlight, the number of LEDs is not as important as the total lumens output from those emitters. Many flashlights also use only a single lithium battery which simply can’t drive the LED’s with enough current to get a bright beam. This model does not suffer from those limitations… definitely worth the price!

I love the power of this 365nm filtered uv flashlight. I have brought many of Alonefire's flashlights and they have all done exactly as expected. Great quality at a great cost. Love the package your recieved. Rechargeable batteries so your not wasting money to buy new batteries all the time. Alonefire has always been my goto flashlight. Battery life is excellent!

I purchased this flashlight based on its specs. 365NM uv light is suggested for finding pet messes. this light has 4 rechargeable batteries that don't need to be removed from the light to charge. It has 2 power settings with up to 6000mw of output. It will illuminate stains in a fully lit room and up to 20 feet away. I wave not used it long enough to test the batteries endurance.

I wanted a UV light to find urine stains from my puppy and decided to get this. There are tons of these types of lights but are cheap and I didn’t want a weak light. I do admit this was probably a little overkill for me as I’m not in the hospitality industry and don’t use this on a regular basis. It’s a pretty thick light and has weight to it. It definitely puts out good light and has two brightness settings. I wouldn’t advise exposing your eyes or skin to this as you can feel it on your skin as soon as it shines on it. If you’re looking for a light to use a lot, this seems like it will work good for heavy use. I’d recommend this light but, it is a bit much for the average consumer.

The light is decent but, it gets very hot, and is not the brightest. I have several 365nm lights, and this one is just OK.

I already bought the alonefire SV003,10w 365nm to hunt for fluorescent minerals, and was very pleased. When I saw this BEAST, I was immediately on board! After unboxing this high quality nmonster, I quickly turned it loose on my favorite calcite specimen. I am blown away by the performance for the value, and can't wait to field test this bad boy. You want this light if you are hunting for chicken eggs, pet urine, fake money, scorpions, bedbugs, as well as cool glowing rocks! Definitely sharing.Picture shot on OnePlus 8 12mp.
