Allstar Performance as well as several other companies have rebranded this Flex-a-lite fan. This is very lightweight compared to the four-blade steel fan from a nationally recognized speed shop I got in 2020. It is about 3.1 pounds lighter. I am not sure what this means in terms of horsepower recovery but will be less strain on the water pump.The word of caution I received on these fans is to check them every few hundred miles for cracks or other damage as they are not made for daily drivers. When you have a first gen mustang you do what you can to stop the overheating.

Passed the ultimate heat test today.95+ degrees outside, 350 chevy small block v8. 18inch flex fan, electric fan on the outside working as a puller.Constant Driving/Highway : 177 highestStop and go, city : 185 highestIdling, not moving: 196 highestThe electric fan alone was not enough. I ran to 220 the other day with it and it wasnt even that hot. Installed this today and the combination of the two gave me the above results on an extremely hot day like today.

Great Air flow at idle recommend for daily driver hot rod , less weight on water pump no power robbing metal fan or clutch rpm simply controlled. Great product. Use these on almost all high performance engines I build
