These fit Schaller locks perfectly and are so much cheaper. I just needed to change the screws. I think someone said they were cheaply made..? That's because these are aluminium which is much better than steel...

From what I saw in the reviews the biggest complaints were that the screws included were small and felt weak and there are no felt washers included. The buttons themselves though are a perfect fit and work very well with my existing Schaller strap locks. I used the felt washers and screws from my original guitar buttons and that solved those issues, but this would easily be a 5 star rating if those 2 items were fixed.The screws provided are too small to be used in the existing screw holes. There are no felt washers included. Both bummers.

I ended up keeping these around for parts. They didn’t come with felt, which would be nice if they did. They are very light, maybe aluminum. Close to a Fender style button, but just a bit differently shaped. They worked fine while I had them on but I ended up going a different way, ultimately. I feel like if they came with felt, I would have kept them on and all would be good. I ordered separate felt that never did show up, so I ordered Fender parts. The Fender stuff just felt sturdier (and heavier) and came with felt so I decided I would use those instead. This was the fairly common issue (for me at least) of ordering what you need to save some money, and in the end I buy the alternative and then also end up buying the stuff I should have gotten in the first place.

I took a chance, given the good price, to work with my existing guitar straps equipped with Schaller locks. I'm glad I did; they work with the Schaller's. I'm good to go.

These work perfectly as a replacement for Schaller strap locks. Not sure where other people have had issues, but mine are high quality, look great, and work perfectly.

I decided to put strap locks on all my guitars. I have some odd and ends. The Buttons were all I was lacking. I really needed them in Nickel, but the price was so good on the Black and once you slip a Nickle strap holder over the Black Button. You really can not see them. That aside, I like the two tone look it creates. My guitars are not the most expensive or the cheapest. I like the satisfaction of knowing once they are strapped up they're not going to fall off the strap. I have been playing guitar for 30 plus years and bought a lot of Allparts products. I have never got a bad product from them. Thank God for Allparts.

I put the felt behind them that came with the bass's strap peg and tightened them down. No slippage here as reported by a previous poster. I like the beveled ends as it adds to the ease of putting the strap on and taking it off. The Black color looks great on my dark mahogany bass. In the past the screws that came with schaller strap locks were smaller diameter and didn't hold well so I always used the screws that came with the bass. Not these though. Same diameter of threaded area as the stock screws. Only the head diameter is slightly smaller so they recess inside the locking peg.

I always put schaller strap-locks on all my guitars. I got a new guitar for my birthday and it would be no exception. However, I was tired of spending $25.00 on a new complete set of straplocks when I use the same strap for all of my guitars, and I only needed the buttons. I found these for a fraction of the price of the full set. They work great as a part of my strap-lock system. I would recommend this to anyone who uses schaller straplocks and hates to fork over the money for a full set when all you need is the buttons.
