Schaller is my go-to brand for strap locks. I have tried several other types and brands, but I keep coming back to Schaller. I have used some generic equivalents and some other name brand equivalents, but the Schaller quality is just much better than the competing products in this style (or any other style, in my opinion).The pins are very well made and include screws of sufficient size that I did not need to do the toothpick and glue prep before installing them. I have these on several of my 20 guitars, and I am not buying any other type now.There are multiple finishes available: black, chrome, black chrome (my favorite), etc.I highly recommend these for ease of use and durability.

All was good until I realized the last strap lock I bought was in Germany (1987) and needed metric replacement wrenchs to go along with my metric Schaller Strap buttons; which are BTW all ONE PIECE! So you can't just change screws!

I don’t trust any other strap lock system over these. The one piece construction makes them easy to install and reduces any wiggle or noise you might get from the strap. They are slightly bigger than standard strap screws, which is great for a solid fit, but does mean reverting back to standard screws may take some work to fill the hole.

They fit, but it's a very tight fit. Too late to return them. Good enough, its nice and secure, but not as smooth as they should be taking straps on and off.

I have so many high end guitars that I tour with. I am high energy performer so i need protection. I love the new design! These are industry standard!

Hands down the best strap lock out there. I have been using Schallers since the 80’s. The new S-Locks are a great upgrade to the original design. The Schallers are the only straplocks I use!
