Got this to lube up squeaky tree stands. Oil has no smell, works fine, and has lasted a reasonable amount of time in the weather. Nozzle has bit to be desired, leaks if squeezed. Solved by poking the tip into a silicone stopper. I also shortened it to length of stopper so it wouldn't bend or kink while shoved into my bag

Our bathroom door was driving me crazy with the squeaky hinges, so I tried this oil to lubricate them. The needlepoint got in between the metal parts quite nicely, and there was no odor. Now the door was silent but worked so well that it kept closing on its own and locked the dog who was snoozing on the mat into the bathroom. A magnetic door holder took care of that. This oil is suitable for any machinery that needs oiling every so often. A little goes a long way, and the precision tip helps a great deal to avoid drips. Two small bottles, each with its own needle nozzle attachment, will last me quite a while.

First of all, I want to just say "not cool" to people who give negative feedback on products they didn't use properly in the first place...funny how you don't take the time to learn this before taking time to write a bad review lol (refer to liquid molasses personfor easy reference). I posted a picture just to show how essential this stuff is for being at sea (good to wash down sw reels right away with fresh water and lube before you even come back to shore)...it's literally right next to my reel wrenches, hooks, first aid, and an emergency granola bar. This stuff is for everyday use, not for the eternal preservation of random things that need regular lube. With reels and other items with lots of gears and tiny screws and washers the lube MUST BE A LIQUID FORMULA in order to reach the. ecessaey nooks and crannies and gradually fade away with that days use. It's not meant to stay and cake up with time so that you never have to lube it again, that's just dumb to think that way. Again, to people not using it properly and then acting all disappointed, it's for items like reels that are exposed to the elements frequently. Go use a blobby grease on your reel, and by the 3rd use, it's going to be ruined to the point of no return from matter that sticks to the blobby stuff. Yes, this stuff is liquid molasses, and it's perfect and awesome despite what spalpeens say about it.

After breaking Daiwa's reel needle oiler and spending some time browsing through Amazon and tackle review sites, I bought this based on just the item description and title - odorless, synthetic lubricant, and oil. The bottom line is this is a great find for lubing fishing reel components.I've used Penn and Daiwa oil for the last 5 years and this oil almost solved the gritty gear sound in my baitcasters.-- Pictured reel is Daiwa LexaHD 300 - previous generation model.-- Also pictured is Daiwa's reel oil's needle - to compare the thickness of the needles.Where this oil is better than what I've used before:-- Oil is thin, does not gum up-- Doesn't dry faster-- Odorless (A BIG PLUS!)-- Is not made of petroleum derivative-- Very competitive price, great packaging & separate bottle caps for shipping-- High quality material for the bottle (I went through 3 Daiwa needle oiler because they crack over the years)What I think they could improve:-- The needle cap would be very useful. I am re-using the needle cap from Daiwa's needle oiler.-- The needle diameter could be smaller. Compared to Daiwa's needle, it is much larger and the oil starts flowing before I could get it to where I am lubing. For a 300 size baitcaster and even a 200 size baitcaster (Daiwa Coastal TWS 200), the needle is too big to fit in a lot of crevices. For anyone who fish every other week, if not more, and spends some time to rinse and lube their gears, this will prove to be a great find for oil at such competitive prices.
