Dowels are ~1/64" undersized in diameter (mic'd 4 or 5 at .36"). Completely unusable. Didn't notice until after the return window, so now I'm stuck with them.I would recommend not wasting your time or money on this brand. The 1/2" box I bought are also undersized by a 32nd, just posted a review on those as well.

Wooden dowels are machined well and aren't too "rough". Sturdy. Purchased because we accidentally screwed a picture hole in the wrong place. Using for filling the hole and placing another screw hole directly above it. Many other uses.

I've been using other dowels but these are just the right diameter, length and have proper grooving for my projects.

I recently purchased a dowel jig and realized i hadn't purchased any dowels to use with it. After looking at many different brands on Amazon I settled on these for the decent reviews.I am just a beginner when it comes to using dowels, so I don't have a lot of experience with them. That being said these do seem to be very good quality dowels, there were a few that had some blemishes, but nothing that would prevent them from being used.They are definitely a good value for the amount you get, and a much better price than my local lumber yard.I will definitely purchase more in the future when I run out.
