I started a 3/4 in hardwood flooring job that was over 1000 sq/ft. The wood was 5in wide and hard to get into the groove since we also glued it. This was easy to use and was great to get tight to the other planks. This is a must have for hardwood flooring job.

Just be sure you practice a bit as it can damage a board on release. We had some very warped 3/4" solid oak toward the end of the project and this saved us buying a whole new bundle in addition to making it possible to install the last several rows with no gaps.

I’ve only used this ONCE. Installed wood floors in the kitchen and bathroom.The other I bought lasted two years and did several rooms. As DYI-ER, I never put it through the ringer. For this one, it worked fine for two rooms.I’ll modify the rating in a few years to see if it lasts several homes (not just two houses in two years). So the rating is 4 stars.

Works better than I expected. Super sturdy and easy to use. Makes easy joints of engendered flooring. I also used to level out deck boards that were uneven. Well worth the money.

I’ll occasionally use this installing vinyl flooring and it works well. But for installing hardwood floors this is a must have tool. I make doing the final couple rows much faster and easier.
