Hey its used to lift grates on bbq pits and it does just that perfectly. Has A nice weight and feel too it. Not flimsy or cheap at all. Also has a quality leather strap it that also doesn't feel brittle or flimsy. Fits in the hands of an adult male just fine. Overall happy with this purchase
