I’ve always wanted a fountain for my garden, but it was so difficult to set one up. With this product, you just need a container water and the solar fountain. It’s that easy. It has many different tips. I leave it up straight through fall. The birds stand on the end and drink the water. The sound is so relaxing in my garden and I don’t have to do a thing but add water every once in a while. I highly recommend this product. I just ordered a second one.

Had it in pond. Moved it to sugar kettle to get more consistent sunlight. Works well when getting sun.

I like the whole idea of the solar fountain. I like that if the sun isn't directly shining on it turns off so that it doesn't run the battery down. When the sun is shining on it spray relatively high for the size. It will float around unless you stick it to the bottom of the fountain with the suction cups that come with the pump.If it floats around you tend to have to add water periodically because the water will spray out of your fountain. It still adds a nice touch and sound to any fountain. Happy with it.

Stopped working 6 months after purchase. When it worked it was nice. Needed to be in full sun with no shade to work, but once we figured that out it was nice to watch. Disappointed it stopped working so quickly. I do not think the parts on the bottom are sealed well enough and water gets in.

I purchased two of these solar fountains....one only worked for a week and the second died in less than 3. Choose a different brand.

We bought this to squirt water into the air in our bird bath in an effort to cool the H2O (Florida, temp right now 98 degrees and increasing). It squirts great! For a simple and very inexpensive little gadget it does its job perfectly. NOTE that it does NOT charge its battery (if it even has one?). It takes electricity from the solar cell and uses it to IMMEDIATELY pump -- no sun? no electricity and no pump! But, hay, what do you want for under $15? It does need sun, not just light so not so much pumping at sunrise and sunset (certainly not at night!). Oh Yeah, when its really hot, the temp of our water is still somewhat warm so our great idea of using the fountain to cool the bird water was somewhat of a bust. Ain't science a kick?

Satisfied with product. However, I didn’t read the description closely before ordering. Operates only while in direct sun, it doesn’t store energy. I placed it on my deck in a wide (12”) bowl. Worked well while the sun was high and bright. Very cute for the price. The fountain works pretty well. If it stops, it is usually due to low water level, or filter or sprinkler cap get dirty. Pump makes lot of noise when water is low. I refill water daily in the morning, depending on the temperature I refill around noon again. Suits my purpose. Easy to assembly.

Worked perfectly for 2 days .Started working erratically and now works depending on it's mood 😕Placed at one place and not shifted , gets direct Suncity sunlight , cleaned regularly.Yet , the problem persists

5/31/21 Addendum:. The company reached out to me 4 times offering increasing amounts of money to delete this review and give them a 5 star review. I stand by this honest review.The title says it all. This is the review you need to read if you want this for your bird bath. I've had this for 2 weeks and really wanted it to work. It really does add a nice effect.The pump has an esthetically pleasing spray IF, and only if, it is in full sun. If it is cloudy or lightly shady, the pump spurts water in an erratic pulse. If there are heavy clouds it does very little. It is not the type of solar product that holds a charge, so once the sun is gone, the pump stops. Before anyone tears me apart for this statement, I expected this based on previous reviews. I was hoping for at least a weak spray in light clouds, rather than the pulsating effect.The biggest issue is that the suction cups on the bottom do nothing to keep the pump in place. Within 30 seconds, the pump floats to the top and begins drifting around, and water starts shooting out onto the ground surrounding the bath. This was the case in both a ceramic bath and a plastic type material bath. I tried weighing the pump down with 2 small rocks, however this limited the amount of sun to the solar panels so the lovely spray was relegated to the random spurt again. Eventually the pump was still able to float and dislodge the rocks.I do think this would be a great product for a pond, or any water feature that is large enough that it can float freely without sending all the water into the surrounding landscape.Amazon refunded my purchase without the need to return the product.
