Works wonderfully. I cut the plastic "arms" to fit a smaller container and it's wonderful. I:d buy it again!

Works perfectly even when the sun is not extremely strong. If the sun light is strong the height of the springs is very impressive, however, if that is not the case the solar fountain works as well and the springs adjust their height to a lower level. Some birds have visited us. We live in the tropics and we get a lot of rain so birds are not much in the need for water but the fountain looks very nice in our garden, that is the main reason we got the fountain for.

my previous review is below. The positioning rods dont stay in. But it has been weeks and it just keeps working. NOTE:some people say it stops working. You need to clean it often! Birds make the water dirty and that clogs the sprinkler cap and the filter. I clean it several times a day because so many birds jump in the birdbath. It take only a minute or two to thoroughly clean the cap and the filter, and then it sprinkles just fine. I stopped using the rods because the birsds throw them out of the bath! It is cute and makes a nice little fountain. I am upgrading from 3 stars to 4.The fountain works pretty well. If it stops, it is usually due to a couple of reasons that are easy to fix and take under a minute do. Either low water level, or filter or sprinkler cap get dirty. Birds really make the water dirty, so need to keep the fountain clean. The birds keep removing the positioning rods and even throw them out !. I have to find them, put them back in, but in no time at all the birds somehow remove them, so I stopped putting them back. Need a bettercway to attach them. Allin all, the fountain is cute and keeps pumping as long as there is sunshine and water level doesn't get too low.

It's a really nice little fountain. It only functions when in direct sunlight, there's no battery to store charge for night or cloudy days. Having multiple nozzles for different water effects is great. The trouble is, unless your water receptacle is really wide, most of them just spray water or and you have to keep refilling it. But if your receptacle is big enough to catch all the water, the fountain won't stay centered because the brackets aren't long enough. Luckily two of the nozzles don't overstay, and those look really nice.

Love that this is solar so no need to charge or plug it in. It automatically turns on and was very easy to assemble. The size is great as well and can be put in any regular size bowl, the appearance is great and the price is just right.
