Your cart is empty.The Aircast AirHeel Ankle Support Brace treats plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, and heel pain by applying pulsating compression with every step, which helps reduce swelling and enhance circulation. The medial/lateral stabilizers offer enhanced proprioception and stability. It's designed with 2 interconnected air cells, located under the foot arch and in back of the Achilles tendon. When you take a step, the first air chamber (under the arch) begins to collapse, thus reducing the stress to the plantar fascia under the arch. Air is then forced into the chamber surrounding the Achilles tendon, which in turn inflates. The inflated Achilles chamber applies compression to the Achilles tendon to shorten the lever arm, therefore reducing strain on the tendon. It's made of a latex-free, compression spandex with air cells incased in waterproof nylon. These air cells have been tested with 1,000 lbs. of pressure, which enables them to withstand the force from running, jumping and landing, and other high impact activities. The Aircast AirHeel Support Brace is already inflated, so no pump is needed. It's constructed of lightweight, breathable materials so it's extremely comfortable to wear. Simply slip the support brace on like a sock, and adjust the Velcro strap for a custom fit. Universal fit allows the Aircast AirHeel Ankle Support Brace to be worn on either the left or right foot.

I got these for my husband. They helped him tremendously for a while. Eventually the air pocket deflates taking away the extra support. They didn't fit very well into his work boots so he had to wear them when he wasn't working. We tried a couple different things to help him and these were one of the better ones.

So thankful to have found the heelcast! I thought I had only aggrevated my Achilles tendon, but after trying two different sleeves/braces I quickly realized I had a true injury and needed immobilisation. Found this aircast while I wait for a doctor's appointment. I had immediate pain relief when I put it on after barely being able to put weight on my foot for the last two weeks. Highly recommend!

Part of my treatment per Othro but didn't want the hassle of the insurance and what not. Exactly like the model they wanted to give me at the doctor's office and probably 1/4 of the price.Sizing is accurate so make sure to note that and order correctly. Fit is fine and works as intended. Might be a bit tight on larger folks and does not include extensions if needed.

I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis in left foot. This brace did okay for me so I gave it 3 stars. The negative is the bubble doesn't give full arch support because body weight will flatten it down when standing/walking. At best the bubble gives a little relief while walking and gives the arch maybe a light massage at best. Shoe insoles will provide the best arch support. I also got the added achilles suport pads. They give pretty good support. While they do dig in a bit it wasn't bad. You can take it off while sleeping or lying down/sitting if it gets bothersome.I have arched feet and x-rays of my left foot showed the bones had gone down 20% causing the pain because the arch was stretching. My doc had me on pain killers and a makeshift wrap with a support pad for a week. On my 2nd visit I told them the pain was substantially lower and almost gone, just a little tenderness in the arch. They had me try on shoe insoles and walk around to see how it felt. I could immediately feel a difference and they were comfortable. I could finally walk without a limp, which I had done for a week to keep stress off my left arch. They said always wear 2 (even if the problem is in one foot) so my hips don't go out of wack. Doctor prices are over $100 for 2. Not giving doc advice, just relaying my experience. If you can save yourself some money you can try these steps on your own before laying the big bucks down. Or if you do see a doc, pass on their insoles and buy from outside. Just make sure they're comfortable by trying before buying. They said the insoles last a year.What I liked about this product:1. I wear a womans shoe size 7.5/8. I got the small with stabilizers. It was on super sale for some reason, only in this size.I sprained my ankle a year ago and have had issues since. When they arrived they seemed the part that wraps around the foot would be too tight.I needed something as I'd be walking around all day that day so I shoved my foot in and hoped for the best.I was so pleasantly suprised! It was SUPER comfortable. My toes didn't go numb. Great stability. And the air cushion that goes under the arch by the heal has a tube to air pockets behind the anckle. So when you step the air goes back and forth. It's like a massage for your ankle.My foot has not felt that amazing since I sprained it.Im extremely happy. I never would have bought it at the price range it is (between $30-40) but now that I have worn it, I would buy it. Totally worth the price.

Having read the reviews I decided to give these a try. Big mistake.I wear a size 12.5 2e shoe and have flat feet with very little arch. I wear top notch shoes from New Balance, specifically with proper stabilization and caters to flat feet. I've had a achillies tendonosis issue the past few months and am working through it. I figured this is just another tool to aid in the rehabilitation.Boy was I wrong. Putting them on is easy enough and sizing of the large was ample. Then put on shoes and I immediately thought "Uh oh". The air bladder in the bottom is right on the arch.Well, I had to give them a good try. So I did my yard work, but after a half hour my arch's hurt so bad I had to take them off. You cannot jam arch support into a foot that has almost no arch. These also didn't help with the plantar nor achillies. I'm better off with nothing and just dealing with the little bit of pain. I think it is very strange to have the air support jamming into the foot arch.

It worked great. I felt relief immediately after wearing it but it popped the day after the warranty expired (31 days). I can't even figure out how it happened. I hope this was just a defective one. I will order another.Pros:-Immediate relief on with my plantar fasciitis and my Achilles.-easy to put on and take off-you can feel it workingCons:- plastic edges where the air pouches were fused together cut my skin until the became flexible (1 week). Could easily be fixed with another piece of fabric sewn around the ankle pouch.- popped the day after the warranty expired. (31 days)- can be trouble fitting into tighter shoes or boots with thick socks- must align it dead center of your Achilles and foot for maximum effectiveness.I will order again and adjust my rating depending on how the new one works
