Is working great on a modified air intake on a 1950s Kellogg American compressor pump plus it quieted the sound noticeably. Quality is good and the price is great !

This looks like the original, but the threads are off a bit. Could not use it.

Perfect fit and upgraded my original plastic housed intake filter on my old Emglo Airmate compressor. 3/8 npt was what I needed. Much sturdier than original

I feel as if the air filter restricts air coming in and might cause the compressor to have other problems like overheating. I didn’t notice any sound difference or it barely made any difference but the filter seems to be high quality. I think I’ll just take off the cap so the filter is exposed.
