This item replaced the feet on a Craftsman 1/2 hp compressor purchased in the early 1980's. The originals were more foam than rubber. With these, the unit does not jump around.

These are quite stiff. This is better if you are bashing them around, but worse if you are looking for better vibration isolation (as you might with a generator). Just an FYI, not soft rubber.
