This intake uses a large 360 degree radial flow PRO DRY S air filter for maximum filtration and convenience. The PRO DRY S air filter requires no oils and cleans with simple soap and water. Absolutely horrible quality control. Weld burn through all along the inside of the intake. The hole looks like it could be better cut out by a 12 year old. The fact that this was considered to be okay to ship is pathetic and insulting. No pride in workmanship at all whatsoever. I won’t be buying takeda again.

I would give 5 stars if everything fit to description, the heat shield did not fit my 2015 Acura TLX SH-AWD. The silicone adapter from the short intake also was to big. I will finish with my own fab work, I wish that when it describes fit everything would fit.

I had heard great reviews about this intake, but I was a bit sceptical. The install went about as smoothly as it could have gone, and the directions were very detailed. The hardest part was relocating the coolant line. After the install I let the car idle for a few minutes to adjust the the new airflow and then I took it down the road. I must say, I was not expecting the amazing sound this intake produced. I am really mad at takeda because I am sure my gas bill is going I increase because I can't keep my foot out of it. No check engine light or any other problems so far. Great product!

Product itself is so far great and I agree with other reviewers in terms of the noise and perceived increase in HP (this could be entirely psychological as I do not have numbers to support this but it certainly feels more powerful!).My only critique: I am fairly novice for these types of modifications and I found the instructions are very lacking. I had to rely on forums and youtube videos to complete the install. That being said, in retrospect the installation itself wasn't too bad. Like several reviewers mentioned, removing the coolant tubing was the most difficult part, but reasonably manageable and independent of my review on the product itself.

Installed on my 2013 Accord Touring model. Install wasn't bad, search blogs if you need help. The coolant line under the throttle body was a little tough to get at. Took me less than one hour to fully install. Results are great. Sound is not noticeable until higher RPMs (above 3500) and really opens up over 4000 and sounds great inside the car. That said, i wouldn't necessarily pay this price for a better sound and was hoping for better gas mileage. Here, this intake really does deliver. I've put about 1500 miles on the car since I installed this and I would estimate it adds 3 mpg. Really. I drove over 200 miles today at speeds averaging 75 (the posted limit was 75) and got an average of 40.5 gpm. Yes, with the V-6. This Honda engine is truely impressive as is this intake.
