This is one great experience. I have played 12 and 6 string guitars for many years and am the lead guitarist in my band. This is a guitar with many affects available. You don't need a capo or an amplifier. You can adjust the volume, the bass and treble, add drums and make it sound like a piano, Banjo, flute and 3 other instruments. There are markers on the neck that let you know how low your battery is. It also comes with a charging cord and instructions. Very satisfied with the quality of this product. Would recommend it to anyone who has or hasn't played a guitar.

I got this for our musical family. We have a variety of guitars and thought this would be an interesting addition to our collection, as we don't have one that's silent. It has been used by various people for approximately one month. After this time, we generally agree that ...- ... the silent feature is its main appeal. To be able to practice in a way that no one else can hear or that distracts others is a big selling point.- ... we wish a microphone were included with the product.- ...the app is intuitive and helpful. We've enjoyed using it with the various levels of skill in our household and think people learning the guitar would especially appreciate it.- ...we really, really wish the mute button didn't have to be held down to continue muting, or at least a control that allowed users to set the mute button either way. In our house, we want the ability to mute while keeping our hands free for other things.- ... it doesn't sound much like acoustic guitars, but then most digital instruments are sadly lacking in this area, so we expect it. We wouldn't use it for gigs or bookings, but it makes a good practice instrument.- ... it would be better for people who can get over the feel of it. Not everyone in our house could. Instrumentalists are finicky people, and this doesn't really feel like an acoustic guitar or electric guitar - it has a completely different feel. People who can get over this will really enjoy the product.

This is written from a complete amateur who also owns an acoustic guitar so just bear that in mind. As someone who's just starting out I think this is a really cool and interactive way to play a guitar, hopefully without ever needing to tune or replace any strings at all. This comes in a giant box that fits the guitar and the assembly and everything is really easy to get setup - just install the bridge and turn the power on and you can start playing immediately. It comes with a usb-c cable to a usb-A/usb-c cable depending on if you need the converter head or not, along with 3 picks and a screwdriver for taking it apart should you ever need to.Getting setup and going was really simple and I think the power of this is definitely additionally helped by the mobile app. There are buttons towards the headstock that can change the tune of the guitar and also include some tones. The main fretboard of the guitar is not strings but it recognizes where you place your fingers to create the sound. The part where you use the picks is where there's real strings so if you need to replace any it would be there. One thing that definitely took some time to get used to is if you wanted to mute it after playing you would need to either cover the fret entirely or place your hand on the mute bar close to where the strings are near the bottom. Essentially if you were testing and normally want to hold onto the strings on the fretboard there's a weird way you have to hold it to mute, or maybe that's just me as a beginner. The power button is also a knob that controls volume and there's another button next to it that can create a drum beat if you need it. There's headphone jack and mic input if needed for other uses as well or if you wanted to be quiet since all the output would go to the headphones. The mobile app I feel is the other half here - unfortunately you need to create an account and it seems their password field doesn't accept special characters which is very odd in 2025 but I digress. In the app you can pair the guitar through bluetooth and look for videos and other things to help you learn. There are songs that show you the fret positions needed for the songs and the directions as well - if you hold onto the frets you will see the notes light up on your phone which is really cool! Definitely useful for a beginner trying to learn and there are also videos to help beginners here as well, though I'd imagine these aren't nearly as useful for someone more practiced and probably the only good use is the ease of traveling with this and playing with headphones on.Overall this guitar is really fun and cool to play with for a beginner!

What an amazing idea and innovative way to combine smart tech with guitar playing. Right from the start I was impressed with this item. starting with the packaging down to the sound this machine makes.Think of this as Rockband or Guitar Hero but with "real strings" the strumming section still has built in strings to play and this even comes with a few picks if you don't have any.the guitar has everything you need or want built right in. Such as speaker, volume up/down, key up/down, mic volume up/down but only available if mic is plugged in. (Mic and mic cord is NOT included).the guitar neck is detachable with the button on back of neck and when connecting, listen for the click. It also has a mute button that will only stay muted while its being pressed.lastly, if you want you can download the app to learn some new skills or songs which can be catered to your level of experience. This guitar is an amazing idea to help kids to adults learn and want to learn with no painful stings to play as its all touch-string technology. You have a built in speaker that can get some volume that can go quite loud if want or you can still plug this to an amp if you prefer.I absolutely love this instrument, smart tech guitar!

I'm a total noob. I'm still learning to play, and I feel like the love I have for this guitar is coming from a very beginner place. I think this guitar is awesome. I am currently learning on a Peavey electric that was given to me by a family friend. I have a 3.5mm adapter in there, which I plug a small inline amp into, and this lets me plug headphones in so as not to disturb the wife and kids, as typically the only time I get to play is while the rest of the family is sleeping at night. 😉This Aeroband “digital guitar” is awesome. Albeit, it doesn't play exactly the same as a real guitar, but it’s close enough to practice a bit or just jam out with your friends while away. Again, I'm super new. I had recorded a video of me playing (first time I've ever done that) to post with this review, watched it, and I'm too embarrassed to post it. I think that's exactly who this guitar is for: someone who is learning and wants something they can carry around and just play wherever. But I think this should still be used in conjunction with a real stringed guitar when possible as you will develop bad habits! Like trying to mute by putting your hand on the bridge.Build quality is pretty awesome. It’s about the same weight as my Peavey. The sound in the built-in speaker is better than I expected. It’s quite playable, but you won't be bending notes as the strings on the fretboard are just silicone strips. It does include a bag of spare parts, which is handy as it uses these proprietary-looking little strings on the body. The battery lasts surprisingly long. I'm still on my first charge, and it’s not really showing any signs of dying. USB-C charging is always a plus. Super easy to assemble and take apart. The things I don't like: it has no whammy bar, and as a noob, that piece of kit is very important to me as we love banging notes hard and wobbling them out on the whammy bar until we run out of sound. ❤️ It doesn't actually pick up sound from the strings; it just determines how hard you've plucked them and then synthesizes whatever intensity it thinks matches the pressure you applied, kind of like the way a synth works when you gently tap a key or mash it hard. That's why it needs that mute area, because patting the strings will do nothing. This gets a bit frustrating and also results in the guitar picking up strings that you didn't play from time to time as one string's vibration may trigger another. It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get going, it’s not too bad. Also they put stickers all over it telling you how it works so you hardly need to read the instructions. The stickers just peel off after you know all the controls. The last thing is the price. It’s pretty expensive for what it is. Don't get me wrong, it’s built super well. The quality is there for the money; it’s just that a beginner may not be ready to shell out that kind of scratch for something that doesn't really even cover all of the bases. There are acoustic options out there, and even something middle of the road is about half the cost of this. There are even no-name electric ready-to-go sets with an amp and everything for about half what this costs. You're not going to play the ACC, but it'll get you started!Overall, I think this is a wicked instrument. I think it is worth the high cost, but I don't think it should be your first/only tool if you're a beginner. It’s a lot of fun and built really well, and if you’re okay with the cost or maybe find a good sale, I definitely recommend grabbing one of these bad boys.
