Replaced my Schlage exterior door latch, was a perfect fit. This is NOT the 3-option style, it only has the rounded corners. (when you buy a Schlage replacement, they typically come with all three plate styles)It's a 45 degree twist instead of the 90 degree, but for the price, who cares. It came with a striker plate (with squared off corners) and 4 screws, 2 for the latch and 2 for the striker plate. Make sure to remove the protective film and you'll see the nickel finish.

It was easy to install and works, but not very smooth. You have to have a good grip on the knob to turn it. Would not buy again.

Quality seems to be good. Price is great. Fit an EZ-Set assembly. In my case, it was for a non-locking door. Just wish it came in brushed nickel instead of chrome, but I swapped a door handle off of a rarely used closet, putting it in the more visible location and used this chrome one where it wouldn't be seen.

I purchased this for an old digital fingerprint lock, and it works better than the original which I cannot buy anymore. It fit perfectly, has a very smooth action and for the money I don’t think you can go wrong. None of the hardware stores, big box and small box locations, sell these individual parts anymore, they want you to buy a complete lock set and that’s not going to happen. I’m going to buy another as a spare because this is the second time in about 15 years I’ve had to replace this part for this lock that I love.

Two of my Gate House exterior door latch assemblies have the little "secondary latch tab" broken and the door doesn't pull/seal tight. This replacement appears not quite as well as made as the original but it was easy to install and fit and functions perfectly. Time will tell if it holds up. I was glad these work as I have Gate House door hardware and they are out of business and was pleased this worked with them in the 2 3/8" position. I am buying two more one to replace another that has the same issue and one as a spare.

This backseat did not fit the Weiser locket because the space where the exterior handle holes and interior handle screw together were out of alignment. This backseat is advertised as a Weiser but it is just a cheap aftermarket lookalike.

Bought a smart lock from discount store. Thought I was going to have to throw it away for the latch was missing in the box and then saw this latch so thought I would try. Purchased this latch and it worked perfect in my smart door lock.
