I used the shampoo which worked for about 3 days. The collar did absolutely nothing. Wasted my money. I have old dogs so I can't give them the pill. Though this would help.

After researching (not on Amazon) the different collars, Adams seemed like one of the top running. I placed it on my12 year old, 2.5 lb Pom because she had a few itches and since warm weather was upon us, I wanted to ward an issue off. This seemed like a good way to do it being she's older and only goes outside to potty. At first things seemed good, then a week and half later she is totally infested, scratching and crying unlike never before. It was as if there was a bugle call going out to all fleas in the neighborhood every time she stepped outside! I cut the collar off, threw it away, bathed her in a soothing bath and have had to do this twice since! She's finally out of the woods and I will NEVER purchase another! If I could give zero stars I would have! Infuriated with this product!

I bought this product for my 6 week old puppy, considering that the flea shampoo that I use on my dog is not suited for puppies under 12 weeks of age, like most flea shampoos. I was trying to find an alternative and came across flea collars. All the ones I had read online said not to be used on puppies under 6 weeks of age, including this one. Since I have bought Adams products in the past (such as my dogs flea shampoo), I decided to buy their flea collar. I got excited today when it came in the mail! Being cautious, I went ahead and read the back on the package to make sure it would be safe for my pup. Guess what? It says not to use on dogs under 12 weeks! At this point I'm upset because I don't have what I need. I could have sworn that it said online, on the picture of the box 6 weeks. So I checked, and it did. So of course now I will be returning it.I'm giving this 3 stars because I'm sure it's a great product, but they need to update their information. If I wasn't being cautious, there could have been a chance of me harming my pup. That's not a week's difference, that's 6 weeks! Please update your information.

I wanted to get my small dogs, one of whom is a 15-year-old poodle with very sensitive skin, something that would get rid of the bugs without being too rough on their skin. My 2 little dogs have both been wearing them for a couple of weeks now. Here are couple of things I've noticed...*I haven't seen any bugs in the house since I put them on.*They both scratch less when they're outside and seem less bothered by bugs outside.*They seem to be itching themselves less in general, but they will both itch around the collar itself sometimes. I think the combo of stiff plastic material that the collar is made of and the chemicals in the collar itself irritate them sometimes but not too badly (definitely not as bad as liquid applications).*Nobody has tried to get their collars off like they try to rub off the liquid applications on furniture. When you're getting bug protection for your animals it's always going to involve putting some some nasty chemicals on them. I think this is a better option than the stuff you put directly on their skin or feed to them. It seems to work, it's less irritating to them & it's a long-term solution (hopefully). I'll try to update in a month or so on how they're doing.
