Tried using this because my dog has a pretty severe reaction to Advantage/Advantix/etc. Had hoped it would be a good solution based on some of the reviews, but where we walk has lots of bushes, neighborhood cats, lots of other dog walkers, SQUIRRELS!, and high grass. Not great, but gotta go where you can in a big city.Anyway, this didn't work, dog was heavily infested with fleas despite the collar, and he was also very disinterested in wearing this thing - probably because of the strong smell. He would run away if I ever pulled it out to go for a walk.The solution I finally figured out was to not squeeze the advantage tube directly onto his skin, instead I would just drip a few drops on the back of his neck hair and brush it in a little bit, then let it dry before applying the next coat. This method is slow and tedious but has worked great with products that do actually prevent fleas, and he thinks he's just getting brushes, which he loves. I also make sure not to let him see the little dropper which he knows and will run away from lol. He's a smart little b@st@rd.

This smells like delicious peppermint tea with honey. I’m not sure it was really effective where fleas are concerned, but I bought it again just because it made the dog smell less like, well, dog.

I use this to help prevent flea and ticks going on my dog .living in SC ticks and flea run ramped and the collar with all natural oils keeps my dog free from chemicals and insects bites . The collar has a mild odor to humans but does work on insects .

Sadly, this product did NOT work out for us. The flea collar was only effective for about 2 months! The features of it being natural and smelling good are wonderful pluses. And it seemed to work well for the first month, but thereafter, our small dog began slowly itching again until now itching like crazy throughout the day! Our family would have loved to continue purchasing this product, but now researching for another brand.

We camp all summer in a campground that sees it's share of deer. Have used quite a few different brands in the past and my dog always ended up with ticks. Tried this collar last year for the first time, and no ticks all season!!

Love this collar for our 62-lb Lab-Border collie mix, who had seizures from the smelly heavy duty collars. The peppermint oil in it smells divine and seems to be the missing link to true tick and flea repellent capabilities.

I like how this is a more "natural" way to combat fleas and ticks. The only dislike is that these collars once fitted for size you cannot take off. Once you remove the collar it is challenging to adjust to the original size you made for your pet. I am actively looking for another product as this is frustrating since the collar cannot fit my dog the way it is suppose to.,

I scored this collar the way I did becauz I did not understand "warmth" and "thickness" for a flea collar. The collar is not that thick around the dog's neck and I used a peppermint to show this. The shearness is great and I used a straw to show how well it blends w dog's hair. I have noticed that my dogs are not scratching much since applying this collar, but I gave them a bath with Dawn dish liquid to ensure if fleas they would have a pretty good start w the collars. I Love the fact this is supposed to be a natural product. I needed something that was as effective as Seresto (Great product), but cost less as I own a pack of dogs and vaccinations alone cost around $300 for me annually..then you add the periodic teeth cleaning and heaven forbid if you have a fur baby w health issues.. so I give this product a 5 Star review..sorry for any previous confusion 😅.
