I was concerned about range - it is not a problem. I thought it might be a pain to set up - it was not. It just works great - put the batteries in the base unit and the sensors and it just came up. You do have to set the switch in each remote sensor - they are small and not easy to see. But that was the only glitch I found. Highly recommended!

Bought this for my dad to check on his greenhouse from his study. It's about 15 metres away. The readings don't seem to accurately go back to the base. It was 17 degrees C today, and the reading showed 32 degrees C. I feel bad for him as I can't replace it.

This is worth every penny! Absolute game-changer for my house. Different floors of my house are set at different temperatures, and as heat rises, it impacts the humidity on each floor. I already have a fancy Ecobee with remote sensors in many rooms of the house. That means I am already well aware of the temperature in different rooms of the house BUT I had no idea what the humidity was in various rooms. This amazing device and its little satellite units provided me with very accurate humidity readings in four locations of the house. That made me understand exactly where to place humidifiers, what setting they should run on and how long they should run. In the winter your home humidity should be around 40%. Some rooms in my home were at 12%! Now all of the rooms are at 40% thanks to this amazing setup. The remote wall units are 100% accurate as well. For example, I have one of the remote units very close to a remote Ecobee unit and the measured room temperatures are identical. All four locations are accurate and match with the Ecobee. The main Ecobee unit can also read humidity and I have the main AcuRite system placed directly next to the Ecobee and the humidity reading of that room is also identical. When first setting up the units it will take an hour for the readings to level out. If you place one of the sensors too far away from the main hub the "wireless" connection will be lost. Bringing the sensor back near the hub did not resolve the problem. Simply remove the battery from the remote sensor and re-insert it. That brought the unit back online within seconds. In my opinion, this is a must-have product for anyone living in a large home. In a smaller space, like an apartment, the humidity between the rooms will be quite similar. Unless a door has been closed and is trapping heat/cold. I have four levels to my home, so this is something I am kicking myself for not purchasing years ago! On behalf of my respiratory system, thanks for making an incredible product!

We have been using it for a month and really like it. It is very functional. We hang on the wall. The font is bold and clear, very easy to see.The only thing to note is the calibration step. Ar first, the 3 sensors are not consistent. This doesn't mean it is not working, you just need to calibrate them. To do it, you will need to put them at the same spot for like half a day and then calibrate them to show the same temperature and RH. The user manual has the direction for how to calibrate the sensor. After that, you just set the unit and time/date, and then that's it.We put one the 3 sensors at outside, garage, and basement. We have some food stored in the garage. There is one day that the garage is really hot, like almost 30 degree. We saw the temperature and moved the food to basement, which is the coolest place. We won't notice the hot temperature so quickly in the garage without this little unit. Also, when kids need to go outside play. you can easily know the temperature outside and let them to wear appropriate clothes. I used to check the weather on my cell, or just have to go outside and feel it. Now it is so easy. Highly recommended!!

We've been using it for about a month now, and it does what it's suppose to. The outside sensor signal has to pass through at least 3 walls over a distance of about 15m and it works fine. From my research it was the best deal for what you get, plus we can easily upgrade and add the wifi module + mobile app option in the future if we want.

Positives, you get to see up to 4 temperature readings from three other sensors.I took off a star for because you are not able to switch displays on the indoor units. The only unit you are able to see other temps is on the main unit. Being in a two story house, this is not what I wanted, I want to be able to see temps from outside and different levels of my house in multiple locations, this unit does not do that. It may have been my misinterpretation of the wording on the indoor units being able to "Change Channels" that led to my issue, so I only took one star for not clearly stating the only unit you can see other sensor temps on is the main unit.Temps seem to report accurately, and other than not being able to see other sensor data, the unit works fine.

I purchased these multiple sensors to monitor the rooms in my home as we don't have central heating/cooling. Rooms are heated by electric baseboard heaters, that are not on individual thermostats. Upon opening these sensors and getting them up and running, the main panel and the sensors all showed the same temperature and humidity within 10 minutes. After several weeks, I noticed that one sensor was showing the exact temp and humidity all the time, day or night, no variation at all. I removed the batteries to "reset" the sensor, and it began working properly again and has been normal for 6 days now. Earlier reviews indicated problems, but I've not seen any of them except for the one that got "stuck", and as noted, it's working fine now. I believe the sensors to be accurate, and I would recommend this system if you are looking for a good way to monitor your home.UPDATE AFTER 60 DAYS:So, overall these units are working exactly as they should. During the last 60 days, the earlier mentioned sensor continued to "get stuck" about once a week, so I exchanged it with another unit that was closer to the receiver. That completely solved the problem, all sensors are working properly and giving updated readouts in a reasonable time. On one occasion, the main receiver "got stuck" and needed to be reset as it wasn't updating. That was about 40 days ago, and it's still working fine. I continue to recommend this system to monitor temps in your home!!

overall great temp/humidity station. Originally I was not getting readings on 2 of the sensors, however removing the batteries from the main display and setting it up again fixed that.I've set up several different acurite stations for friends / family over the years and this one was by far the simplest setup. We've 2 of the room monitors set up in my nieces rooms to monitor temperatures in there because their rooms are drafty. We discovered one of the rooms is way too cold and needs a space heater for the winter.Pros: -you can monitor up to 4 areas including indoor and outdoor-You can set alarms for when the temperature gets a certain high or low temperature-Setup really was easy, I didn't even open the instructions for this one-You can buy a smarthub off their website and get the sensor readings on a phone app tooCons: -originally my display didn't pick up half of my sensors, I had to remove batteries and start over. It fixed itself the second time- I'm pretty sure than one of my sensors is about a degree off. Not sure if there is a way to calibrate these room sensors or not
