Took my dog to the dog park and brought fleas back! Advantage was not working so I switched to this. Within the week I see nothing so far on my three dogs and one cat. I will update on a few more weeks! The only thing I was not a fan of was the opening of the vile. Usually you just break them but had to use scissors, but that also means they were sealed well so I can manage! I DO recommend this !

Update: I’ve been using this for 3 months now and while my review below is still accurate, I want you to know that the fleas seem to come back in full force around 3 weeks after applying this. It does not protect my dog for the full month as advertised. Removing a star because of that! I wish it protected my pup longer from picking up fleas.——-My Pomeranian started getting fleas and we used this in December. So far, he hasn’t gotten any more live fleas. Keep in mind you have to re apply this every month. It seems to do its job. I recommend bathing your dog first before applying this as to make sure they don’t already have fleas on them when applying it. Does a good job for the price!

Seems to work good. Its been on my two dogs for about 3 weeks and no fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes doesn't bite them. Both are around 30lbs. And both are mixed breeds. Both have been on K9 Advantix 2 for years but recently maybe since Bayer sold to Elanco (probably cutting cost) their formula is really watery and just beads off when applied. So tried out Activate 2 and so far so good. And Activate 2 isn't watery and actually stays on skin when applied.

Not even worth a star but PLEASE READ!!! I have three dogs two out of three have irritated patches ALL OVER , that are new and bleeding some and raw ! All three are still constantly itching and chewing and it’s been over 48 hours now! Fleas are still on them ALIVE , not even half dead , but still like I haven’t put anything on them for flea meds, like last product last month that worked! ..I try my best to comb them out 🪮 and kill them I am glad so many other owners have had better luck but mine haven’t, now enveloping missing fur patches and bleeding spots!! And now look like they have Mange! With all missing fur! I could add photos but every time I do says it won’t load do to inappropriate images or something along the line of that! It only made my poor babies worse! I have two Cane Corse’s and an Alaskan Malamute!! It is almost like buying the cheap brand of “HURTZ” ( which I never recommend!!! ) two out of three have unfortunately gotten BURNED irritated skin now. Maybe my Alaskan Malamute too, but with all her fur I can’t see beside her belly and so so sooooo red and irritated and RAW!!! Wish I could provided the pictures but again I’m not allowed every time I try to upload the pictures!!! SO ANOTHER WORDS, BAD MEDICINE FOR YOUR BABIES!!! Now I got to figure out how to come up with a whole lot of money 💰 to take ALL THREE to a veterinarian!! I’m beyond broke now and hopefully I can help for now give oatmeal baths 🛁 and it will work 🤞🏻!! And they are hard to bathe considering my back is practically broken, at this point! And my Alaskan Malamute has to go to a groomer, more money 💰 💰 💰!!! Not worth a dime for this product! TRUST ME!!!! They are SUFFERING and nothing I Can do right now about it all!!! 😭😭😭😭

After just 1 day, I see an major improvement. Our dogs are very important companions to us. I was almost hesitant to purchase the product, but after reading several reviews here and looking at the mfgs. website. I decided to give it a try. I usually want more feedback before trying a product on my beloved dogs. I am glad, that I decided to forge ahead and be the one to give feedback for everyone else. The wife and I have multiple huskies whom we share our life with. I certainly love the price point. It works just as good as other name brands. I say other name brands as this product will certainly be a name brand, and it is one we now trust. My huskies tolerated this product very well, and showed no signs of any reaction at all. Well except for a major reduction in fleas. After 24 hours, I checked our dogs and I couldn't see any visible movement. I know its not a 100% product on the first go and it will take few applications to completely stop the cycle. With further applications for preventive too. That price sure makes it easy to provide those. I/we literally cut our monthly medication bill in 1/2. So we will 100% be purchasing this product again.Being basically a rescue, (our vet classifies us as one) due to taking in multiple huskies over the years. We have tried to be frugal with some things but food and flea medicine are things we don't cut corners on. I would recommend this to any rescue groups out there whom may have tight budget constraints. We know the more you can control costs the more you can help other animals.Being as how passionate we are about our pups, I will be sure to update this review as needed.** edit:I wanted to notate we have used this on dogs as young as ~1 year, to senior dogs 13+ years of age. All have faired well and tolerated the medication well. Its now October 2017, and we are well outside our normal flea flare up season. The pups are doing well, the medication continues to be a vital part of our medication regimen. I saw no ill affects at any time in its use across as many as 13 huskies. Yes we have 13 huskies as pets. They are all rescues and not used for breeding purposes. Actually all are fixed.Edit 2:Its now December 2017 and we are still continuing to purchase Activate II, everything is still going well for our huskies.**** I will continue to suggest this as an alternative to some of the other higher priced medications. Having said that all users should be on the look out for adverse reactions when any medication is given. I would recommend placing an animal poison control number in your phone. Remember that pets are just like us, I may react differently to a medication, that you can easily tolerate. The same goes for the pets. The vast majority of the population may likely see no ill effects, but you have to be prepared if they are in the minority group and cannot tolerate a medication.
